Is there a way of blocking calls from PSTNI ?

I tried blocking RID 16776896, but that didn't work.

Do these phone calls occur on a certain tg? Can you block the tg or set priorities on the tg's you wish to hear?

Hey Dave3845.

Good point. I failed to mention that the PSTNI (Phone Patch) occurs only on Private Call. So I tried Manually adding and blocking that ID of "16776896" and "PSTNI". Both of which DSD+ FL removes from the Radios file. ie. I add them and DSD+ FL removes them.

Any ideas? Or can the DSD+ team please add this as a feature in a new release please ?



Ignore the "disgarded WaveOut blocks" as when PC enters then exits power save mode sound output fails.

Are there other Private calls of interest you listen to? If not, does setting Private calls to L/O help you? To be honest, I never even messed with this and I dont have Private Calls on any systems I monitor.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, yes. I do monitor other Private Calls. Probably 95% of what I monitor is Private Calls and the remaining 5% are Group Calls. So sadly, that won't work.

I am currently on version 368 attempting to update.
I have tried both my home network as well as using my cellphone as a hotspot (disconnected from home network) to no avail.
I was able to download the new base files successfully. I get the prompt to update to 465, when I click on update it immediately
returns update failed in both cases.
I emailed DSDplusfastlane@gmail.com 6 days ago with no response.
I did subscribe to the unlimited program.
Any help and or advice would be greatly appreciated.
I did also try direct download from the link provided in email changing the version number.

Are you connected to a VPN? In my case I have to disconnect from the VPN in order to download Fastlane updates.

If your good with PC stuff, take the link you tried from your email with the new version number and stick it on a thumb drive and try from work or library PC to see if it downloads and save it to the stick.

I'm downloading this update, but it appears the zip file is corrupt. I tried it 3 times, and got the same result. I am able to get and open the base files from the menu no problem.

Edit - Nevermind. Program I was using didn't support encrypted zip files and I forgot about the password. Opened with 7-Zip fine after installing that on this PC and getting the password from my email.

I started seeing this with 2.465 recently as

The issue with "lost control channel" on NXDN networks is still not resolved.
Here is a fresh screenshot from a few minutes ago.

I'm seeing this as well with a local NXDN RAN provider. It seems to reset during passive monitoring. The reset itself seems to occur when there's voice activity. The channel activity window will show the voice frequency/CH ID pop up. Then it resets the CA window and only shows the control channel info once again -- instead of showing the CC and V1 data.

Also, I don't know if this is related, but I'm seeing the detected alias get permanently modified. DSD will change the original lines @ 10:37 too upon the change to this [BP@]

If you want to keep the alias (or make custom ones), you need to edit the RADIOS file and remove the asterisk in front of the alias. If you have done that and it still changes, then that is an issue.

I've never had to do that before. Why is it changing the alias from the original data?

Because it is seeing something different, or it is thinking it is. Could be any number of reasons that causes a slight hiccup in the stream...bad signal, interference, too much signal distorting data.

it happens once in awhile. Typically you can resize the windows.
if that doesn't work, find the dsdplus.bin file and delete it. Then restart dsd and it should fix itself
