I believe that just shows in the PPS, not on the pagersRG, What about tab E1-2 Introduction. Can you see that on the G5 when ever you want. 250 characters is a good amount. It would be just enough to label each knob position.

Please consider a new thread for this. The OP is going to need a lot of help.RG, What about tab E1-2 Introduction. Can you see that on the G5 when ever you want. 250 characters is a good amount. It would be just enough to label each knob position.
Gives me hope for the future!!🤪Then mine must be obese and in need of Ozempic with 11 trunking/scanning zones and 16 zones with conventional frequencies
OK I will turn on other computer, bring up the software but still dont know the right model number for the radio I ordered. The create new profile part has 3 fields at top of page: voice pager model: I chose G5 dual band.... the next line is: First Band Type: sx - 700/800 (763-776, 851-870 mhz) the 3rd line is: second band type: I chose UHF-D (450-512 mhz) .....I clicked on all 4 protocols......did a "search by condition" and the results give me 5 different model numbers....I dont know which one to pick. I am going to guess it is model # G5B67BF-SXUDEN1400UNI band is 700/800 + UHF D Protocol is Analog, DMR, P25C, P25T and under software it says Basic Function. OK I did just that and starting to fill out the pop ups forms ......I will see how far I can get before I get stuck. OK stuck already! It wont let me type in the WACN ID....which is "BEE00" the SYSID is 197......the fields are confusing.A zone is a collection of knob positions. Up to 8 knob positions in a zone. I don't know what the the max number of zones is, I have 3.

You really need to launch the software and get started. I think you are suffering from negative learning at this point.

OK I really messed up my first profile so I deleted it. I signed on RR and downloaded the data for RISCON I cant figure out how or where to put any of the data I downloaded. I do have this...see pic....but not doing things in the right order.Bob, There are 3 sections to the PPS SW. The profile page, the import RR and view/edit existing profile. Did you login to RR. You need RR to select your systems to listen to. Watch more videos

I managed to get this far but looks like a duplicate.....I downloaded the .csv file but there is another .csv file in RR for talk groups but when I try to download it, it says file format bad? the data is not showing all the talk groups or all the frequencies. The step in Tab D2 isn't important, that said you enter the WACN and SYSID in the right column as the BEE00 and 197 are HEX. click okay at the bottom and save. Now close the D tab screen.
Now, open E tab and select that Sample profile. Click on edit on the bottom.
Go to tab E2 and here is where you really start. Click Add and import .cvs from RR and add 700/800 system
Okay, first, please tell us/show us in SS what tab you are on when you share, so we are one the same page (I saw the C1 afterwards). Secondly, did you load this like I told you to?
Finally, it looks right, but there will be an extra step we will get to later. For now, do the same thing 4 or five times, once for each site selecting one site at a time.

The system (sites, freqs, TGs) goes in customer public resource manager, tab c, this is like the third or fourth time I have replied with this. I feel that the using the E tab is not a best practice. It may work, but it will get tedious entering a system over and over again.OK I really messed up my first profile so I deleted it. No that is incorrect, you don't need to download any files, it will import it exactly as needed. That was my mistake. We will delete those in a minute, but first in the top right use this...I managed to get this far but looks like a duplicate.....I downloaded the .csv file but there is another .csv file in RR for talk groups but when I try to download it, it says file format bad?
OK this is what I have in photo...it seems to be showing the right info.....The system (sites, freqs, TGs) goes in customer public resource manager, tab c, this is like the third or fourth time I have replied with this.
Launch PPS
Tab C
Tab C1
Import .cvs from RR and add 700/800 system
If you want to take over I'm more than happy to let you, but it might get confusing if we both are helping at same time. The system (sites, freqs, TGs) goes in customer public resource manager, tab c, this is like the third or fourth time I have replied with this.

Okay using the orange import button, do the exact same thing for each site, but select only one site number at a time.OK This is what I have so far...it seems to have all the right info....
This is where I am totally confused. I am importing the WHOLE RISCON system, not the 5 individual SITES.....so I have to import SEPARATELY the NORTH, SOUTH, EAST, METRO and STATEWIDE 700 sites as separate entities?Okay using the orange import button, do the exact same thing for each site, but select only one site number at a time.
I'll step away.If you want to take over I'm more than happy to let you, but it might get confusing if we both are helping at same time.
As you wish, please feel free to correct me if I'm wrongI'll step away.
