I do not think that campbells ledge site is online yet, I drove by the other day and the monopole is up with all the antennas on the tower, but obviously that means nothing if the shack and associated equipment has not been turned on yet. Being in Scranton I can only barely get a signal if I stand on my rear porch facing south using my Unication G5, I hope when Campbells ledge comes online I can get a better signal as I can see the tower from my location. Then maybe I can hook up some software programs and start figuring this system out.

Around noon on Wednesday the patch was back up. It’s been up around 90% of the time since then. Just heard it still active now dispatching a Freeland Station 5 box and EMS runs for Medic 11 and Medic 26. So maybe it’s now going to be up more permanently it?

Very interesting. I don’t recall seeing anything in the 4000’s before. But it appears the 1025 patch is still up.

Maybe it’s only working on the North site? I’m actually going to lock it out now since it seems to be up pretty consistently. I don’t want to miss any other testing when I’m stuck on listening to EMS runs going out all day.

I was up that way yesterday and the only TG I heard was 1025 and I traveled through both the north and south sites.

Everything besides the 1025 has been quiet for weeks now. Even that is still just off and on. It was on quite a bit the last few days but shut off again last night. Seems like it’s an afternoon/early evening during the week thing right now. I very rarely hear it overnight or on weekends.
I have the 1025 locked out on my 100 and the screen rarely lights up so I’m guessing not much else is happening on any other TGs lately.

All quiet over the weekend as has typically been the pattern. I’ll be curious to see if anything starts being active during the week again.

Looks like July 1st is the targeted date for cutting over if all goes well with testing.

After the conversion, the system will be encrypting police channels for officer safety at the request of the Luzerne County Chiefs of Police Association, although fire and EMS channels likely won’t be encrypted, officials have said.

I’ll have to play nice and no comment the Big E part though other than to say even if it never happens New Hampshire has the right idea with House Bill 1031.

Back on topic though that’s where I just saw that article posted as well. Hoping the looming deadline means we start hearing more testing picking up.

North has still been quiet as well. A couple times a day it sounds like someone bumps a mic. Just long enough the hear the click and light up the 100’s screen but never long enough to catch anything on the display or save to a replay.
