54847 Radio id 7290

54148 Radio id 9920 The same radio ids as 54118 which i posted on 9-18 and had 150 hits on again today..
There was a drug bust in town today in which the BCI and ODEA was involved in. So these two talkgroups may be a BCI or Ohio DEA talk group.

I'd guess 54847 to be a Sandusky Co Sheriff TAC talkgroup. Typically talkgroups in that range are either SO DSP or SO TAC, adn given the 72xxxxx radio IDs Sandusky Co sounds logical.

You might be right about 54148 and 54118, but they will likely never be listed in the DB because you'll likely never be able to actually confirm without a doubt the main agency using it. Typically on talkgroups such as those you'll never hear anybody saying "switch to BCI 2". Best just to let them be unknown and enjoy the fact that we can listen to them.

Picking up traffic on 51774 with radio ID's of 90XXXXX for the OSU football game. Could be some some sort of OSP-Columbus District Event channel.

"Radio Central" is what they often call their dispatchers.

Some state radio ID ranges [from my personal monitoring] -- and yes, they probably should be in the wiki somewhere. But just like many of you, I also use the radio IDs in use on an unknown talkgroup to try and determine what the talkgroup is.

Code:
9000xxx osp
9001xxx osp
9002xxx osp
9003xxx osp
9004xxx osp
9100xxx odnr
9101xxx - 9105xxx	odnr
9201xxx - 9203xxx	correctional / adult parole auth
92550xx - 92555xx	correctional / adult parole auth
9303xxx - 9306xxx	odot

Ok request for whoever....

While its neat to listen to areas of the state on the xMARCS system, whomever is listening to Columbiana County Sheriff (TG:54777) here in Columbus 24/7 for the past two weeks its getting kinda old. Please switch to something new.

Are you referring to some feed on Broadcastify reporting to be monitoring Columbus but frequently having Columbiana Co SO traffic on it? Just curious. If so, which feed? Can't figure out your post.

You, a scanner guru, telling a possible law enforcement official to change their channel is insulting and rediculous. They could be working with them on something, or it could be as simple as listening to an agency a family member works for.

TG 5523 - Lima/Allen County

Traffic heard on TG 5523 (wildcard hit) at around 0615.

Engine 2: blah blah blah.

Lima PD/FD dispatcher: Engine 2, check your band.

This TG is within the range of Lima/Allen County TGs and it is obviously programmed into Lima Fire Department's radios so further listening is required to identify it.
