A questions regarding the recorder and record flag when using Uniden BC125AT.

When using the recorder with "activity" enable, the recorder functions works properly and records the audio as I have it designated in the options.
When using the recorder with "lookup record flag from database" nothing is saved in the recorder.

Record is selected in the database and the banks have been uploaded to the scanner.

The record flag option does work on my BCT15X units. Is this option radio specific or am I missing something?

Thanks

I see a problem. I'll fix it before the next release.

I am having strange recording issues with the SDS200 and ProScan. I can make and play back recordings in ProScan fine but I leave it running overnight, all of the recordings are still showing but there is no audio playing even what would play the previous day are all blank. I tried listening to them with both Windows and VLC players but they are blank recording with them as well. It did work as described for a couple of overnight recording sessions, but not for the past three days/nights. It is strange that the recordings were fine before I let it go overnight, then everything is gone.

I am an admitted newbie with ProScan so it could be operater error but I did not change anything and everything changing to blank recordings is odd.

Thanks

Are you using the LAN for the audio? Can you check these settings. In the morning, check the Audio Control - Recorders tab and see if the meter shows audio.

I've seen where i can d/l the database from Sentinel. If I do this, can I quit using the RR database for programming?

No, I'm asking if ProScan will simply dl the db from Sentinel. Is it really that hard to make the leap? I read the thread title just fine.

NO, it's not. In fact once you get a little bit of the hang on Proscan, it's great. And I'm going tell you the folks here are absolutely GREAT if you do have a question. I recently got a different scanner one I have ZERO experience and while I had to order the cable, I have the programming set up and saved for it, the minute the cable is in my hand.

You will still need the RR database however if you want to import anything directly.

Even though, both. My SDS100 n' BCD436HP are being recorded by Proscan. I am having trouble, trying to write to both scanners.

When trying to write to SDS100, my PC is saying to scan the drive.

When I try to write to my 436, I don't get that error message, but-

Proscan freezes on both of them.

Any ideas

TIA
