ProScan Version 1.7 Build 2 includes the RadioReference Imports feature, improved Scanner Over IP, and bug fixes.

Supported scanners are the BCD996T, BC796D, BC785D, BC780XLT, BC296D, and the BC250D.

I'm thriving to make this the best Computer Aided Scanning program and suggestions are very much appreciated.

New user here so if this is not the right place let me know. I have the SDS100 & 200 I am wanting to clear the scanner and start over, How can I do this and I love Proscan!

• Turn the SDS200/100 OFF.
• Press and hold down the 2, 9, and the middle key (directly below the screen) at the same time.
• While still holding those three keys, turn the power ON.
• The scanner will restart in factory default mode.

I have an old BCD396T, and wanted to download the Database with Proscan, but it downloads, but doesn´t show the Database, I have aother scanners, the BCD160DN, BCD352P2 and BCT15X that work ok with Proscan, any idea on what i am doing wrong with the BCD396T?

All the systems in the BCD396T, but after downloading, the Database doesn´t show any downloaded system, this only happens with the BCD396T, the other 3 scanners work ok

Freescan, lets me download the systems, and also upload systems, but I prefer Proscan

I suspect the problem is partially due to the BCD396T being a single site per system scanner. Would you provide a link to the system you are trying to import.

I create the system with information a collect, and it is a Conventional Analog System, the system is in Chile, and there is no Database with information about systems in Chile

I misread your post. I see you are downloading from the scanner.
When you download from the scanner, do you see a popup with options and if so, do you see the systems on the left side? Is the 'Get Selected Systems' on the right side checked?

Yes, and it starts downloading, shows that the systems are downloaded, but they don´t appear in the Database, and if a manually create a small conventional system and uploaded it, it also disappears from the database, and allthough it shows that it is uploading , it doesn´t show on the scanner.

My other scanners work ok, and th BCD396T works ok using freescan

Hi Bob. I dug out my old BCD396T and I can confirm what ce3eoa is seeing.

ProScan v24.6.

Running my instance of Proscan for the BCD396T in it's own folder, I open a new database file, hit "Download From Scanner" and the download window appears as expected with all the systems in the scanner listed in the download window and checked.

With "Get Selected Systems" checked. The 396T display shows "remote mode keypad locked" when the download begins and the selected systems become un-checked one by one as they are downloaded. The download appears to finish as always, but the database window does not populate with anything (completely blank).

No problems with any other scanners including the BCD996T.

Tested with the BCD396T, with 24.7, and I cannot download the database, although it shows the systems in the scanner

24.7 seems OK for me..... Open new database file, download current systems from scanner to database file, save file.

Open another new database file, import several municipalities from RR, upload to scanner with "Delete All Systems Before Sending" checked, save and close file, new systems are in scanner and working as expected.
