ProScan Version 1.7 Build 2 includes the RadioReference Imports feature, improved Scanner Over IP, and bug fixes.

Supported scanners are the BCD996T, BC796D, BC785D, BC780XLT, BC296D, and the BC250D.

I'm thriving to make this the best Computer Aided Scanning program and suggestions are very much appreciated.

I am recently getting an "echo" on my feed. Plays radio traffic and translation working, but each transmission repeats itself at very low volume.
Feed # 40337. "Sonoma County Fire-EMS and Sheriff Dispatch"

Folks,
I received a couple of emails recently advising that Windows Smart App Control was preventing ProScan from running. Reason is my apps are unsigned. I got a OV code signing approval a few days ago so now I'm waiting for the USB Token to arrive via USPS. I should receive it next Monday. Tuesday, I'm going to sign my apps and re-upload them to my server. I'll advise when the apps are signed.
In the mean time, if you get a warning from SAC, turn it off temporarily, That is if you trust ProScan,

Google AI Overview
Smart App Control (SAC) is a security feature in Windows 11 that blocks unsafe, untrusted, or unsigned applications using cloud-based AI. It prevents malware and potentially unwanted apps (PUAs) from running. It operates on clean Windows installations and can be managed in Windows Security.

Leave it to Microsoft to shoot up the already existing Windows AppLocker with cloud AI steroids! They're going to cause havoc amongst the open source community with no way for an end-user to allow-list an app they already trust; so many end-users will completely disable what may be a decent security feature. Not to mention, it's probably not free on your side to jump those hurdles and have to deal with approvals, code-signing, cert renewals, and such. UGGH!

How do I connect to the RadioReference Database after I just purchased the program? I enter my RR User and Pass, I just receive this pop-up. 1787675452353.png
I figured it out... Good ole' Windows 11 does not like the program and blocked it. I whitelisted it and it is fine.

I'm having an issue with the 'update text tags' tool. I'm trying to get it to center alpha tags on my BCD436HP, but every time I initiate it with either the 'Center Justify BCD436HP Display 24 Characters Wide' or 'Center Justify 64 Characters Wide' or even just remove extra spaces, none of it works. I haven't tried the rest, but I've concluded the tool just doesn't work. Though the tool never had a problem with the BCDx96xx, BCD325P2, and BC125AT.

I've thought about trying that, but I feel like that wouldn't realistically change anything. It wouldn't be something I would need to do with my other scanners. But does it work that way?

I'm not in front of my computer to look right now. I may be thinking of the profile editor. I believe ProScan should write it whenever you write to the scanner, though. Meaning, programming changes. That may be what you're doing already.

Does the problem show in the Favorites Editor or just the scanner display?
If it shows in the Favorites Editor then post a screenshot like this:

If it shows just in the scanner display then post a screenshot like this:

I just tested it in my scanner, and it did nothing. doesn't work in either the editor or the scanner.

So you select that option and click Update Text Tags and it doesn't react? Meaning, the text tags don't change to centered? Of course, you'd have to write to the scanner for the scanner to 'see' the changes but even with PS it doesn't? Just making sure, not trying to insult your intelligence here.

By "PS" you mean proscan? Then no.
