Site 14 (Davis Simulcast) is up and running today...coverage testing happening throughout the day. Can probably expect non-public safety users to be using it next week, followed by public safety in late March.

Is Site 14 using the same frequency set as Site 12, or is it different? I might be down in the area in a few days - could try programming my HP2 to see what it finds.

Also, do you have the FCC license number for it?

It appears that 851.9875 and 852.6625 have been added to Site 14 as control channels.

NOTE: I've only confirmed these via Unitrunker monitoring Site 12, which is getting the control channels for Site 14 as a peer. I haven't been to Davis yet to run Unitrunker and get the voice channel frequencies, yet.

I was able to get enough of a signal in South Sacramento to run DSDPlus(FL). Here is what is currently identifying:
851.98750 (control channel)
852.27500 (alternate control channel)
852.48750 (voice channel)
852.66250 (alternate control channel)
853.07500 (alternate control channel)
853.23750 (voice channel)

The system is denying all but Davis/UC Davis site affiliations it appears due to the limited channel capacity at this time.

Site 12 is the only peer to Site 14 per DSDPlus.

Added site 1-14 Davis Simulcast. Removed 852.275 from the Davis trunking system and removed 853.2375 from the UC Davis trunking system. Please kindly submit more as you find it. :)

I noticed that Site 14, Davis, was up today. I was able to pull it up fairly well from my work office in West Sacramento. So far, the only traffic I have seen has been on talkgroups 1395 and 1399.

There hasn't been a lot of traffic, but I've been seeing 1347, 1355, 1387, 1395 and 1399 as talkgroups so far. Nothing all that exciting to listen to yet. I can't quite figure out what agencies I'm listening to, but I'm guessing busses of some sort.

Thanks for the info... today I'm hearing other talkgroups.

I am using SDRTrunk to listen to the SRRCS system while at work. The way I have it set up, if I have given a talkgroup number an "alias", I usually tell it not to monitor, but if it is an unknown talkgroup, the audio comes through locally. This week, there have been many new talkgroups that I'm trying to figure out. Most of the new talkgroups I couldn't care less about.. thankfully, you mentioned the UniTrans talkgroups this morning. Now, I'm hearing even more talkgroups. Some are likely other transportation services beyond the ones you mentioned earlier. So far this morning, I'm hearing the following talkgroups. Interestingly, I found with SDRTrunk, I can simultaneously listen to Site 12 and Site 14. It appears that most of the traffic on Site 14 is only on Site 14 and not on Site 12. I say most because I saw 1403 simulcasting on both sites. I THINK this is Yolo Bus.

I've submitted to the DB. Per a source, non-public safety campus users (including transit) are transitioning this week.

Thanks for the update. I'm now hearing traffic on 1387... they are talking about booting a vehicle, so I'm guessing it is parking inforcement.

The following agencies are starting the transition to the P25 system as of this week:

Rancho Cordova Local Government
West Sacramento Police Department
Besides Davis (City) and UC Davis, I believe the above are the last holdouts, besides secondary users (AMR, CHP, etc.) to transition to the P25 system.

Are you able to provide a current channel list for the Davis/UCD Smartnet systems? I would suspect the P25 Site 14 frequencies are no longer active on their respective Smartnet systems, but I just wanted to confirm before updating the DB.

It was hinted to be sometime in May, but with the current situation going on, I'm sure deadlines are going to be delayed.

A bunch of TGs were just added to the DB, and I believe that TGs 1243 thru 1271 were mistakenly added under City of Davis. They appear to be the new UCDPD talkgroups, based on the old channel lineup. Can anyone confirm?

On another note, there seems to be a distinct lack of capitalization on the CDCR talkgroups...
