As you know there is always going to be haters but Uniden better release something that is worth wild buying. All the other radios that have been released in the past couple of years gives all of the basic features to use a scanner in every market place. Hopefully its just not an SDS100 in a larger metal box.

Disregard people like that. They are mostly self centered spoiled technology challenged folks. Or just trolls.

My SDS-100 works great here in VA and sometimes even better than the MACOM p7300.

Thanks OP for the awesome news!

FYI The Ham Station (in Evansville, IN) has already posted a webpage for the sale of the SDS200 on their website which states the following (direct copy and paste from their website):

"SDS-200 base version of sds-100

Base version of the sds-100.Official announcement JAN 2019

No price yet will post when known."

Here's the direct link to the webpage if you want to have a look at it for yourself: SDS-200 base version of sds-100 : The Hamstation!, Your one stop on-line source for amateur radio fun.

They got lazy. The least they could've done is posted the picture as well.

Are you tired of winning yet?

Bet you can by the SDS200 before you get a pic of the TRXxxx.
Maybe they don't have an Etch A Sketch to submit their soopa sekret planz to the FCC.

Antenna connector type has been changed to BNC in the test report. Also, looking at the label locations, I think they're pretty much in the same place as my 536. I saw a guess about this being a Home patrol 3, but I'll stick with the 536 replacement.

And hopefully the gps connection will be like the sds100 and not the outdated db9 connection

That should be the SDS500.

The SMA connector misinformation made no sense but, with it being a BNC connector, I am inclined to agree that it is the 536 replacement. Makes me wonder what the rumored SDS500 could be though.

Why do we insist feeding into the nonsense on the pre-release of any scanner? When Upman is good and ready I am sure he will release all the information we need, otherwise, we are wasting time and space even talking about it, I say delete the thread as its nothing to see here, Happy New Year.
