Looks like most of the herd is back in the barn --
Wonder if the 92 AW did a elephant walk prior to launch.. Sounds like it.
Guessed right for once :)
Fairchild AFB sees largest launch of KC-135 fleet in base history (airforcetimes.com)

1900 local EAGLE-1 C-5M 84-0061 off Dover .. Odd callsign for Dover C-5.
1925 EAGLE-01 turning Northwest at Long Island maybe headed for Westover.

Interesting as both SPUR's rtb McGuire.. SPUR-98 came inbound alpha 1.Seems they tanked somebody fairly low out there
then did rtb McGuire.

SPUR 99 mentioned to ZKC they were dragging 4 aircraft in the GRIFFIN flight and that their destination was Langley. Still wasn't able to get an ID on the type.

Couple of possibilites from Rons list ?

GRIFFIN F/A-18E VFA-113 NAS Oceana VA
GRIFFIN F-16C/D 194th FS, CA ANG Fresno ANGB CA

Certainly not this one:
GRIFFIN Hercules LTW - RAF Lyneham , UK

Old 70 Squadron callsign. They disbanded around 2010 and the rest of the hercs left Lyneham for Brize Norton in 2011. In 2012 Lyneham shut as an RAF base. I don't recall hearing the callsign by them used since.

For those who do like to keep lists of such things the hercs use
ALBERT
JUDGEMENT
OMEN
REYNARD
STRIKER
ZORRO
If heard over in US most likely ASCOT1xxx probably

...and to get things more MA-related.... little sign of activity in the E3, 162782, yesterday

Nice catches.. Those guys coming East with ER fuel tanks and flying for max fuel economy made it on a single A/R.Bet will need two A/Rs when they go home.Hopefully will catch them working with Langley aggressor jets offshore. Now just need some of their A/A freqs. :)

Usually it seems on these types of cross country trips the tankers will stay down low with the fighters for most of the flight ? And using "SPUR" tankers for something like this seems a bit odd too ?

Like yesterday there was a SATAN 91 flight on a more typical mission dragging 6 chicks westbound, no ID on the type. First time I've heard the 157 ARW/133 ARS out of Peace use the SATAN callsign. Maybe because they were dragging Tyndall F-22s ?

Rons list - SATAN, F-22s 43rd FS Tyndall AFB FL

SATAN91 dragged the Blue Angels Westbound yesterday. Interesting callsign from the 157th, but it is the name of a local Initial Approach Fix (IAF) which means it must have a local meaning to it.
