We are trying to implement a TG Hold and the ability to lock out encryption but it takes time and man hours to develop these changes and we have been focusing on more important features.

To anyone looking to acquire commercial radio programming software:
Please do not make requests for copies of radio programming software which is sold (or was sold) by the manufacturer for any monetary value. All requests will be deleted and a forum infraction issued. Making a request such as this is attempting to engage in software piracy and this forum cannot be involved or associated with this activity. The same goes for any private transaction via Private Message. Even if you attempt to engage in this activity in PM's we will still enforce the forum rules. Your PM's are not private and the administration has the right to read them if there's a hint to criminal activity.
If you are having trouble legally obtaining software please state so. We do not want any hurt feelings when your vague post is mistaken for a free request. It is YOUR responsibility to properly word your request.
To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.
The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.
For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

The automated reply when you email P25Firmware@unication.com still has the old software from what I can tell. Can this be updated with the new firmware download location? I still have not received any email with the new software.

Received the email with the link to download the new PPS, however at the bottom it stated "Firmware: MUST be obtained by contacting your Authorized Dealer."
Does PPS not update this automatically?

The email David sent out had a link to Firmware but it indicated it was for Michigan users who planned to use their device on the MPSCS system. The bottom of the email does state to contact your authorized dealer for the latest firmware... anyone know who that might be for ScannerMaster?

- When first opening one of my config files the application crashed. After re-opening PPS I was able to access the programming. I also notice on the "View/Edit Existing Profile" page of PPS the version changed from 2.9 => 3.9
- I tried programming my newly converted 3.9 profile to my G4 and it wrote successfully, however the version of firmware on the G4 manual still shows V0.90-0.14A-R11P

A quick explanation...All firmware must come from your dealers. It is Unication's policy that the dealer provides first-line support for the products. Therefore is was decides by senior management of the company that all firmware must come through the dealer network. We have provided the programming software and many tools and documents to assist you. Please contact your dealer for the firmware. The below link is for the PPS, Documents, and Tools for all areas except for Michigan (not currently approved by MPSCS). If you you do not have a dealer or would like a different dealer please contact me via email and i will set you up with one. I apologize for the inconvenience.
