Awesome catches kkn, 30/31 MHz is really shining lately.

It's going to be great to listen to all the business users once the sunspot cycle peaks again...

Whoever said lowband wasn't used anymore was really really wrong...

It is interesting to me that for the most part I am hearing the same stations over and over. Some new ones of course, but most of what I hear I have already logged.

Well, it's nothing like it was in the 60s and 70s (remember when the high power car phones were there?) but it is certainly still very active when the band is open.

ah yes the old car phones and la city fire on 33.70.and CT state police were on 45.02 it was there only freq.

I remember the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Ontario Provincial Police both on 42.06/42.22 wiping eachother out and complaining about the "foregin broadcasts"
