Is there a list anywhere showing which simulcast sites each city transmits on?
Not sure what you are looking for?
I guess like Westport is on site 3/13 Troop G simulcast But i have got them on site 3/11 also Troop A simulcast
Stamford is site 3/2 but its a campus system and is its own 4 site system hooked to the state core same for Bridgeport and New Britain

Site roaming is determined during the planning phase with the state and is generally based on loading and impact on network capacity.

What I’m looking for is which Simulcast sites I need to program into my SDS100 if I want to hear as many FD’s as possible. I travel mainly between Newtown and New Haven so is it possible to pick up Hartford, New Britain and Norwich being so far away?

Why don't you program the Fire TGs and whatever sites are physically on the path you traverse.. look at the district / troop location map on the state site, you can probably just google it tbh, add those sites. Should help you setup and test a reliable configuration.

PD or Fire Alarm? As of now I believe both are only on 26 or Troop E unless a radio roams into another zone, though when Groton ambulance does transfers to BP or Yale they will roam but Prob more of a chance hearing L&M medics roam as they work on the Waterford side of the river as well.

There is no way to be sure of where beyond a local site where you may hear something. You can hear stuff on a site for a high percentage of the time but if there is no one affiliated to that TG at the site you are monitoring, if is likely it will not be heard. Some groups do not need to have a radio affiliated but most do.

Troop G site will get you Westport, Trumbull & Stamford FDs, You will sometimes get Bridgeport FD there but they mostly stay on their system.
I have gotten Hartford FD on the Troop I site but not too often,
Roxbury and LCD Come over Troop A site mostly but sometimes on Troop I

What determines when a department transmits on one site or another? In other words, why does Bridgeport for example sometimes transmit on Troop G but mostly stay on their own site?
