One thing to ask DO GUEST MAKE THE RULES AT YOUR HOUSE?
This is his house his rules.
This analogy is so overused and usually flawed. If you insist on using it, then his "house" ends where the bits leave his network.

I don't force my guests to read the magazines when they take a dump.

If you've got a visitor in your house taking the browns to the superbowl, you are more than within your "rights" as a homeowner to demand they read your magazines AND execute a courtesy flush.

Worst analogy in the history of petty arguments.

I look at my Pie-hole ad blocker as a courtesy flush for ads, thank you very much for that!

The bit-creator has the right to downgrade your experience if you use an ad-blocker on his website as you receive the bits.

You have the right to whine about it, or pay a subscription, or leave
