I searched on the FCC website looking for tower sites that match Sherman Mtn and Perry County. The search was hampered by the coordinate search function returning an error. Anyway here is what I found.

Triangle Communications has a site on Buffalo Mountain in Perry County, call sign WQSK899.

Capital Area Communications has a site on Sherman Mountain, listed as in Cumberland County. The call sign is WQSX897.

The search results are certainly not definitive but could 25.4 be on Buffalo Mtn?

Oops, I forgot that Sherman Mtn is right on the county line. Site 195 (aka 25.4) is Sherman Mtn in Newburg, Cumberland County. The Buffalo Mtn site in Newport, Perry County should be Site 210 (aka 27.3)

The system name has been updated (for now, at least) and the 8 identified Triangle sites have been added, the basic info, at least. I'm sure I overlooked stuff like the confirmed call signs, so feel free to submit anything that I've missed/left out.

I Updated the information in the wiki, as well as renamed all the pages to match the DB listing, so everything should link correctly now

Quarryville (Gap/Georgetown) WQOS223 & Rawlinsville (Truce/Holtwood) WPFU958 are different sites, but thats ok.. I've heard the techs talking OTA over the years, and that's what they call them. I Know Nothing. (As Sgt Schultz would say) :)

Email has been sent to DSDPlus about this --

System Notes

Uniden scanners and SDRTrunk software will display the correct Network/System ID and Site numbers as they appear listed here, however DSD+ will display incorrect values. DSD+ will show this system as System ID 6, and the site numbers that DSD+ will display are listed on the detail page for each site.

Good luck getting a reply or an actual answer.

Were you ever able to figure out the site ID for Rawlinsville?

I listed the DSD+ site numbers next to the site name to make it easier to reference them. Maybe one day DSD+ will get it right. 🤷‍♂️

It's Site 203, listed as "Quarryville" in the RRDB for uh...reasons.

WPFU958/WQNT317 is the site, it's never been in question, just curious how yet a third name was introduced to the db (one that's not on the license). For 1 site. I only wanted to know why, I was not questioning its validity.
As stated previously the triangle techs I've heard call it Rawlinsville (the Holtwood Post Office is in Rawlinsville). When they referenced Quarryville they were referring to the other triangle site WQOS223. As an example, Sherman Mt is near Shippensburg, Buck or Truce Hill is considered at best New Providence or The Buck. So I'm Sgt. Schultz. It's not in Quarryville and people who live in Quarryville would call that tower location to be in Rawlinsville. I know where it is, and I'll continue to call it Rawlinsville in my personal programming. But I don't lose sleep over what the admin does anymore and I won't bother submitting anything involving that admin. I do my best to avoid further confrontation. I posted my findings only for the sake of the hobby and those interested on keeping up with the system locally, I just wanted to know the reason/logic, but my expectations are low.
