Question....what unit IDs are being heard on this new TG? We have a LL base here but I have yet to catch any traffic on the new TG... are these ground units, air units, or both?
9399110 and 9399150 were both helicopters, 9399140 was dispatch

They may not be using it yet out there. I always heard them on VHF in Terre Haute.

This is old data, but I have 9399110 as Lifeline 1 and no label for 150, very interesting!!!

Will keep ears open, but with low ceilings, not much flying the last few days... plenty of calls for service, but turned down because of the wx!

Correct, rotor 30, 20, 12, 50, and so on...also, Fightradar24 has been showing LL3 using a University of Wisconsin Health helo? Wonder what that is all about? LOL maybe they have bought it from them and have yet to change over the registration...

So Illinois
University of Iowa Health ( University of Iowa Air Care) uses Air Methods. The U of W helicopter was probably in Indianapolis if it had been sold or lease transferred. I don’t know where Air Methods helicopters receive service in the mid west. Helicopters require a lot of service and spare helicopters are used in various areas while primary helicopter is down for maintenance.

I've seen that heli, it's all white and has an IU LL sticker on it. Same tail number so FR24 shows it still being owned by UW. My guess is it's being leased.

What's the likelihood that this Benton Co TG is accurate in the DB?... It's a poor copy and paste, but it's the last TG listed for Benton Co.

It is highly likely it was very correct when it was first ID'ed and added. Its use may have changed over time, as happens frequently. If you ever go back to look at how say Johnson County was initially set up, they now are very different and repurposed almost half of their TG's over the last few years.

I'm talking about their TGID: 49604.

Yes. Again when it was first ID'ed and added it was most likely exactly as is stated it is used for. Is it still this? Only monitoring can tell. Again, TGID's can, and do get repurposed. Also some TG's don't make a lick of sense, don't fall in the planned ranges for an County etc... Hendricks County for example has at least one that they added that does not fit the planned set up at all. Also guys there is an unknown TG popping up in the Cass County range.. 10058. If this is NOT an Cass County TG then it will be another WTH TGID...

That has been identified as "Air Med 1" by multiple sources.

I'll speculate that if it is Air Med number one, then there are likely other numbered "Air Med" channels planned as well.

And thus an What The Heck TG set up. 10057, 59. 56, 60 etc are all Cass County Sheriff, which makes this one make not a darn lick of sense. See what I mean?

It's this simple: 10058 falls within the IPSC numbering scheme. 49604 does not, and you will not be able to convince me that it is even a possibility. I'm done replying to your nonsense.

10058 falls within the scheme for Cass County. Directly between 10057, and 10059 which ARE Cass County. But this TG is NOT Cass County by reports. How again does it make sense? TG 1 is in the IPSC range as it is the OTAP TG. That leaves everything between 1 and 10001 as IPSC range then by your own logic... Could also be an typo but if so why has it not been mentioned in how many years now?

I am in the process of working submission 244496. Has anyone heard of a rural utility using SAFE-T for operations? I'm assuming I'll stick it in the county level subcategory, but I'm not sure there are any other TG's assigned that way as precedent.

Michigan has utility companies on their statewide public safety system. I believe they shared in the cost of the system as well. I receive 800mhz "skip" near Marion, IN almost daily from Michigan and Ohio. I would cross-reference any TG number with the surrounding states statewide system to see if it was skip. I've not known of any for-profit utilities on SAFE-T.

Mishawaka Electric is in the RRDB as TG 12599, and 12600. I searched the tags "utility" and "utilities", and I think the only other entity that came up was the Angola Water Dept.

Ameren Illinois uses Starcom21 and AES Indiana is on the IDPS system, so it wouldn't surprise me if some REMC was on SAFE-T.

There are electric co-ops on AWIN, MSWIN etc also. Seems to be becoming more common these days, as the power grid is covered under DHS umbrella, though kinda loosely in comparison to travel by air and the ports.
