I did not realize this forum was here. Sorry for all the emails. Having the same problems that everyone else is having, now having an issue with when I disable a feed and or mute a group it still comes through as if it was not muted or disabled.

Is there any possible way to have both radio log and radio feed be able to view the metadata from my scanner. I want to use both so I can stream and record/log, since neither do both, and I really like the log view of radiolog.

Subscribing to this thread. I'm interested in seeing if I can get this program to decode and log MDC1200 and FleetSync signaling in my saved HP1 and x36HP recordings. So far no luck. Configured WinMDCD to accept audio from VAC (registered - no audio watermark) and it works, but similar configuration in this app doesn't show any IDs.

EDIT: Figured out MDC1200. I gather FleetSync isn't supported yet?

It's been to quiet lately. Is there any new updates or anything?

It's disappointing. I gave it a try, as indicated above, 7 days ago. Sent the author a question. In the meantime my evaluation key has expired, and no reply on my question. I'm not going to buy it without being able to evaluate it further, and to make matters worse, when I try to start it, my only options are to purchase or activate a license. To exit, one has to End Task in Task Manager.

Any word on an update?

It would be nice to hear from the developer on any anticipated updates, as it stands now, the software is below par, constantly freezes and just does not work as advertised. I have stopped using it and have learned my lesson about jumping on-board too soon.

The concept is great and I hope we see some updates to improve it and make it usable.

Hello everyone. Sorry for the silence, I have been on a project for the past few weeks and I was unable to work on RadioLog for a little while. I will be going thru everyone's posts and questions today and respond back. One thing to note, the most frequent email I get is from people that have lost their license keys. I have added a new license recovery feature to the web site. If you go to ResponderApps - Support Center there is a "License Key Recovery" option on the right side. Just enter the email address you used to purchase the license and it will display the license keys associated with your email. This email is the email of your PayPal account.

Any chance we could get a longer trial? 3 days just doesn't appear to be long enough time to evaluate it. I have only had one day to play with it and only have one day left out of my 3 to evaluate it. Still trying to figure out a couple things.

I will look into making the trial longer. The bigger issue is extending the trial you already have. I will have a solution by tonight.

Progress Update: I have tracked down why the feeds are disconnecting and not restarting after a length of time. It is also related to only a limited number of feeds initially starting up. I will be posting an update tonight. Also, the trial will now be extended from 3 days to a full week. I will post an update once the changes are all available.
Also, I have updated the license retreival method so that the licenses are emailed instead of displayed on the web page. The licenses can now also be reset from that page as well (up to 3x per license).

I have posed an update for everyone. This should resolve the network connections going dead, as well as reconnect and start-up connection issues. I have also enhanced my diagnostics log to include more network error details. The update history can be found at ResponderApps - RadioLog Release History

For anyone that would like to extend their trial, I have extended the trial length to 7 days. Please follow the instructions below. This is for TRIAL licenses only.

1) Update RadioLog to version 1.1.0.30 (or higher in the future).
2) When the license dialog pops up, click anywhere in the License Key edit box.
3) Press CTRL + SHIFT + L at the same time.
4) You will be prompted if you want to clear the license key information. Click Yes
5) Restart RadioLog and start a new trial.

NO NOT DO THIS IF YOU HAVE A LICENSED COPY, IT WILL USE UP ONE OF YOUR LICENSE SEATS!

I'm going to be wiping the laptop I have this installed on soon to rebuild it since it's running really slow. Is there anything I need to do to not use a "seat" when I reinstall the OS?

After you wipe the laptop, go to ResponderApps - Support Center and put the license key into the "License Key" edit box in the "License Key Reset" section and click "Reset License Key". This prevents the old machine from taking up one of your seats.

I just tried to update. I went through the usual process but never loaded. I tried again, and same thing.

I then killed the 2 process, waited a couple of minutes and tried to start again. Same thing happened, the program will not load to operate, but it does load the process.

Not sure what is going on, but everything had been working up till the attempt this morning to update...

I have posted an update that should fix several issues. This release also adds an "Upload Diagnostics" button to the Settings screen. Sending logs this way allows me to get a full picture of what is happening so I can fix any problems. The automated dump logs give me a specific error. The "Upload Diagnostics" feature give me a full trace of what lead up to that error.
