Click the URL Setup button. Does it say TCP and UDP not connected? Also make sure you are not running AVG Anti-Virus as that is known to interrupt TCP connections. Are you using version 15.0?

Also it could be Wi-Fi interference so I would investigate that.

I use avast and removed the anti virus to see if that help and still the same in URL setup it was still connected I clic reconnect and now audio is ok

I have been having an issue where if I have to reboot router due to it locking up, everything reconnects fine (536 to ProScan) but the source keeps disconnecting/connecting to broadcastify. If I restart ProScan it connects and stays that way for days. It is on a Win10 system just done about a month ago and there is only factory antivirus on it. I have had it happen more than once and last night I missed hearing about a fire that was happening, scanner is in another room away from bedroom and I use an old iPhone to listen in bedroom.

Does Proscan allow us the ability to use the mouse or scroll wheel when we've used the mouse to bring up the menu like in this photo... it sucks that after hitting menu or function etc with the mouse, i still have to reach up and touch the radio (rotate know and push in to select) when the cursor is sitting there over the list and the natural movement is to scroll with the mouse and click.

Double click on the knob and try that. If it does not work with the scroll will it works with the arrow keys on my laptop.

Totally not intuitive nor in compliance with any Windows Dev GUI standards, resulting in no ability to use the mouse for a basic item like selecting a menu item, the most common sense item you'd think would be part of such an expensive piece of software. Not all of us want to stream over the net and do all the fancy wiz bang stuff Proscan will do, some of us just want to have the basic human interaction/GUI stuff working... but thank you.

Clicking on Menu to get access to FL's etc brings up that screen but then trying to scroll with the mouse wheel or arrows does nothing, like any other application, so then you have to click the large knob, then it allows me to scroll with the cursor (backwards granted) or mouse wheel but STILL NO ABILITY TO CLICK the selections, clicking the mouse when over an item you'd expect to click, just turns off the green selected indicator on the large knob, again not intuitive and results in extra work cus there's no way to select any of those items without physically hitting the enter key, might as well not use the mouse at all, repeated clicks of the menu button flip through the menus screens but again you have to hit the big knob as your cursor loses state ..... frustrating that this software fails to follow basic Windows GUI standards around mouse click events as bad as Sentinel fails to follow standards around "Save As" for saving separate profiles.... oh well, guess I'll add this one to the pile of other software that does some awesome stuff that 'some' people want but fails miserably on basic required GUI / user interaction... disappointing.... but thank you for your help.

UPDATE: In options, there is a selection called "Mouse Wheel Scroll", changing that to Mode 2 made a bit of help. At least now I can click "Menu" and don't have to hit the big knob but still no way to select an item in that list with the mouse so no point using the mouse at all in that window. For what it's worth, Arc536Pro doesn't allow you to use the mouse in the menu either so oh well.

Intermittent connections could be caused by your computer, NIC card, cables, router, ISP, far end, etc.
Its been suggested by a few users to use a tool called PingPlotter to isolate where the problem is.
Insure you're not using AVG Anti-Virus software as that will interrupt TCP traffic.

Click the URL Audio Setup button and see if excessive Packet Loss shows in the dialog. Wi-Fi interference or a flacky Dongle could cause excessive packet loss. Move the dongle and scanner to another location to see if the packet loss decreases.

For a test to see if the intermittent connection is on the BCD536HP Wi-Fi to ProScan leg or the ProScan to Broadcastify leg, try streaming without the Wi-Fi by using the sound card. If it is the BCD536HP side, go to the Options -> Scanner Specific and change the Wi-Fi / Ethernet Keep Alive option to Method 1. If problem still exist, try Method 2.

Bob, Everything is fine until I reboot router and not restart ProScan. As of right now, since I restarted ProScan, it has been up for 3 hours 53 min with no drops. If I reboot my router and when everything reconnects is when I start seeing the drops and it will continue until I restart ProScan. The scanner 99% of the time will reconnect with ProScan. Only once and awhile it won't but I think that is more on the scanner end. I have set it for Method 1 now as it was off, but it isn't the connection between the scanner and computer. The WiFi dongle and router are about 12 ft from each other and the signal is excellent (pretty much is throughout the house) The packet loss is 0.0%. The only anti-virus on the computer is what comes with Win10. I used to use AVG years ago but gave up on it and just used what came with windows.

I have ran PingPlotter before when it did it and did find a spot that was a bit laggy but it wasn't that bad. After restarting ProScan, it connected and stayed there for days.

Is there a log somewhere for ProScan or a way to log the source client?

Right now I will just have to remember to reboot ProScan if the router flakes out and I have to reboot it.

To navigate to the various scanner menu items. Click the big knob (to get it focused) then a few ways to get to a particular menu item. 1) drag the mouse (hold the left button while moving the mouse) over the knob. 2) Rotate the mouse scroll wheel. 3) Use the keyboard up or right arrows for CW direction and left or down arrows for CCW direction.

Once you are at the desired menu, double click the big knob to go to the sub menu.

Does that help and are we on the same page?
Do you have any suggestions to make the operation better?

No log. All a log will show is the dropped connections. The TCP protocol doesn't show where the dropped connection occur, just that the far side failed to communicate with the near side.

It's interesting to note that I've never heard of the SDS200 Ethernet drop a connection to Broadcastify , just the BCD536HP Wi-Fi.

Ok. Well I guess I will just have to remember to restart ProScan once the router is back up and running as it is still connected fine with no drops to broadcastify. The other stream I have on there is running radio feed and that reconnected just fine, but that is using the sound card in the computer attached to an analog scanner. Right now I can't move the 536 to try a hard wired connection but that isn't the problem. lol so I guess I will see how it goes for a few days.

Two questions here

1- On the Sds200 custom colors how come some colors on the scanner itself dont match the scanner interface in proscan?

2- is there anyway to add a dmr color code (7) for a dmr site in a 996p2. I seen in the option page it has a dmr threshold i think it was called but i not sure if that the right place.

After you make any color changes in Sentinel, you have to write the profile to the scanner. Also in the ProScan Options -> Scanner Specific tab, click the Read profile.cfg button for the color changes to take effect. Did you do that? Does that work or still same problem?

The right place is in the frequency grid, below the Site node.

Sorry, this is the only place I could find to get support. I would have thought RR would have given you a section where people could make individual post instead of one long running post. It makes it hard to find information.

There was nothing preventing you from creating your own thread in this here Scanner Programming Software section. There are plenty of individual threads requesting support for ProScan, it just happens that most seem to feel comfortable posting in this long-running thread. I'm sure that you've read at least part of this thread, and can therefore see that the software's author is extremely responsive. Furthermore, the first place to go for support would've been the ProScan website, which has a whole page titled Bug Reporting and Request / Suggestion Guidelines where it gives clear instructions on how to obtain support; posting about issues in the RR forums is optional, quick frankly.
