SCANNING THE AIRWAVES SINCE 1987
Freescan has the ability to clip and paste from an web page into csv and into the software. It does a good job.
I tried it with Freescan too and it was more of a jumbled mess than with Proscan.

I've done it, for me it was easy, but I have had years of Excell and data manipulation.
If you are familiar with spreadsheets, read below.
Use one of the CSV exports - Chirp - etc.
Import the text file into your spreadsheet - mod the columns to match Proscan as needed. Then cut and paste.
Way over simlified
Is there an easy way to import (or copy/paste) frequencies from the Repeater Book website? I'm wanting to program in over 100 ham radio repeater frequencies into my BCT15X and when I copy info from RB and then click on "Get Clipboard" when creating a database, everything is put into just the 'frequency' column.
I realize that what I want to do may not be possible (may have to enter each repeater manually), but if it is possible, I haven't figured it out yet and could use some help before I pull all my hair out.
Thanks in advance.

I am having a problem with recorder on Proscan. Uninstalled and reinstalled and it still does it any ideas? it will record and then when i go to play it back it goes green and then does nothing.
It's fixed. Will be in the next release.SDS200
The absolute best way to get it added is by email. That way I can ask questions and send out test files to make sure done right.Hi Bob,
Can you add to the wish list the ability to skip duplicate frequencies when searching for duplicates when the tone is unique?
Thanks,
Ron
The Recording Data.txt file is written to each hour and when the program closes. If that appears to not happen then verify you are working with the correct folder running the same instance of ProScan. Also make sure the file is not opened with a text editor that could cause a file sharing program.Hi Bob and ProScan Community,
Once again, THANK YOU, Bob, for a really wonderful tool you have created for us.
I'm having some challenges with the Recording Data.txt file. I'm not sure how this is possible, but ProScan seemed to stop saving or updating the Recording Data.txt file. Is it possible that data would appear in the Recorder screen (showing each transmission/recording) but not be saved to the txt file?
Here's the scenario: Earlier this evening (03/06/2020) I copied the txt file and opened it from another location (I did not open the "active" file). I was surprised to see that the most recent recording, according to the log file, was 02/26/2020. I am perplexed because a) the Recorder screen showed transmissions from today, yesterday, days before -- all very accurately, and b) the actual recording files are perfectly fine in their particular date-specific files that are automatically created by PS.
I am sad because I had made notes in the Recorder screen "Notes" field. I regularly do this, and can readily refer to them when I copy the Recording Data.txt file and open it in Excel. I have even created a template with headings I want and for hiding many of the columns. I occasionally print some of these notes to share as friends listen to action-filled recordings. <grin> My notes between 02/26/2020 and 03/06/2020 are lost, and for the life of me I cannot figure out how or why.
Note to self: Back up the txt file more regularly, and cycle the uncheck-restart-check-restart routine with the "Load Recordings Data" checkbox in the Start Up Options menu. Probably a smart thing to do anyway to keep the file size smaller. I run the recorder 24/7, though, in order to catch up on missed transmissions later. So I'm certain the file gets larger than it should. Lesson learned.
But can anyone explain this head-scratcher of a correct display without it being written to the txt file?
Thanks,
Jeff
You correctly identified my issue. In this circumstance the file appears to have not been written during the period I mentioned. While I do run multiple stances of ProScan, each is correctly contained in its own folder. This appears to have been a fluke as other instances of ProScan have continued to both record and log correctly. It seems to be working fine after a restart. The Recording Data.txt file is written to each hour and when the program closes. {edit} Try stopping and restarting ProScan to see if the most recent data is in the Recording grid and Recording Data.txt file.

That's it. If coping at all then do it when ProScan is not running.I am wondering if when I copied the txt file to paste it in another location to work on a copy rather than actual file, if somehow that interrupted the save/write function built in to the program. I’m pretty certain the program was running as I copied the file. I never worked on the original file — only the copy I made.
The IP address should be the same. What you need to do is set a unique port for each instance running. Remember to forward each port to the correct internal IP.I just wanted to ask a simple question, but I couldn't find it in the manual. I am running two instances of ProScan. I have both web servers setup, but when I click "get my IP" it assigns both instances the same outside IP address. Is that acceptable as long as my ports are different? Is there a way to get two different outside IP addresses?
is there a way when adding unit Ids for a sds200 in proscan to move it up in a list already created instead of it being at the bottom in the list? Just trying to keep my list organized
Sort the columns.
