Make your recording folder c:\recordings and your problem will go away.
Great - can you point me where to adjust that as I noted I couldn't locate it. Thanks

Thanks again. That button seems associated with the checkbox/label to its left. It might be more obvious if it was standalone. But I'm all set.Make your folder 1st then point to it.
Good evening, I have another question about ProScan. I am using it to program a BCD436HP. Recently I decided to redo a bunch of my favorites lists. I created new lists, moved systems from various favorites lists to consolidate them, etc. I ended up deleting some favorites lists in the editor in ProScan. Then, I wrote to the radio. I then discovered the favorites lists that I deleted in ProScan still exist in the scanner. Using Sentinel, I would have picked "erase favorites list on scanner" before writing to the scanner. Is there an equivalent option in ProScan?
In this case I remembered which favorites list I deleted, so I went into the scanner to delete them manually.
You downloaded & installed the ProScan Free Client used for the RSOIP server monitoring only.Downloaded ProScan 16.1 to my windows 7 computer, and it shows BCD996XT and the tabs only show Options,View and support. No other tabs. No tab to select "Scanner Type
OK Thanks don't know how that happened. Didn't pay close enough attention. You downloaded & installed the ProScan Free Client used for the RSOIP server monitoring only.
I think you want ProScan 16.1. 1st link on the left side.
Band Scope is a function of the scanner. If Uniden implements it in the BCD536HP then we will support it.Hello,
I recently purchased a Uniden BCD536HP scanner, and have been enjoying the ProScan trial. I do plan to purchase a license key for it soon.
I was reading about some of the features that I haven't tried yet, I'm very interested in the "Band Scope" feature, but was stunned to discover that the BCD536HP might not be supported! It seems to skip that model, and then returns for the SDS100 SDS200.
Is that correct? Do you plan to add support for the BCD536HP?
Bruce.
Has anyone had an issue with the wrong channel name and or PL/DCS code showing up in the recordings list? The frequency may be the same but the PL or DCS codes are different or the wrong channel name shows up?
I've had on numerous occasions this happen and it just happened again.
Currently:
my radio was scanning and hit this in one of my banks
47.200 192.8 SCDOT Hampton
in a different bank also in my scan list i have (radio did not hit on this channel)
47.200 D073 FLDOT (Kenansville)
The correct frequency and PL are there for the SCDOT channel I was receiving but it labeled itself as the FLDOT channel which I was not listening to.
it says this.
47.200 192.8 FLDOT (Kenansvile)
showing the wrong channel label but right freq and PL
I am having a problem with Proscan. When I Center Justify all of my text tags, everything is moved too far on the SDS100 display. Like off the screen too far. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks, Bob
Ahh OK, so I have to get a newer version of Proscan? Mine doesn't show that line option. The problem is the display shows only the first 24 characters of the text tags and the text tags total length is 64 characters. An option was added to the "Update Text Tags" dialog in a later version to justify based on 24 characters.

Yes I was just about to say the same thing. Ok I'll look forward to the next release. Thank you.Correct
{edit} I just checked. It looks like it's not in 16.1. Will be in the next release.
Hello Everyone,
New subscriber to ProScan. I bought my SDS machine just before Thanksgiving. Coming over from a 996t was quite a quantum leap for me. So, when I set out to program my SDS machine, using Sentinel, I was a bit unsure on how to do it. Well, I messed it up about 2% worth.
One of the cities in San Diego County was overlooked. When I tried to install it, I was unable to do so, and I now know why.
If you'll look under the favorites list-tree in the snip below, you'll see the header "SAN DIEGO COUNTY" right? O.K.
When I get the City of VISTA from the master list and click "IMPORT", it wants to know where to place VISTA, right?
Because of the way I began my favorites list 6 months ago, I didn't understand how the whole thing worked. If I'd never have placed "SAN DIEGO COUNTY" at the top and instead just had "RCS NEXTGEN" in its place, there would be no problem! "So, what is the problem?", you may ask, "...just delete SAN DIEGO COUNTY".
The problem is that If I delete the "SAN DIEGO COUNTY" header, I will be deleting everything attached underneath it.
So using ProScan, is there a way to edit my favorites to incorporate VISTA into the "department" category where it belonged in the first place? If not, I'm not willing to redo all of my favorites for the sake of one missing city.
Your thoughts...can do, or can't do?View attachment 83593
