ProScan Version 1.7 Build 2 includes the RadioReference Imports feature, improved Scanner Over IP, and bug fixes.

Supported scanners are the BCD996T, BC796D, BC785D, BC780XLT, BC296D, and the BC250D.

I'm thriving to make this the best Computer Aided Scanning program and suggestions are very much appreciated.

Does the Win Mixer show audio?

It does not sir. It shows that it is enabled, but cant get audio to show. Unless I am doing something wrong. This is on the line in jack as well as using the USB sound adapter that I listed above.

Find this window in ProScan and see the box for "tone on capture side" I have ckecked... Make sure loopback is checked...
See if it works before thinking it's the jack...

If it does not work... As Bob (Mr ProScan) said above, check your mixer settings...

I would check that the Win Mixer is showing as an input(mic) and not output(speaker). My guess is the scanner jack and/or cable.

Thats my input device... Yours will be different...

The audio works fine from the scanner to an external speaker. The mic works fine from the computer on a skype call. The speakers work fine on the Surface Pro. But I get nothing to the audio in the Proscan. Note: I do not have any of the ip stuff set up yet. I only checked the audio on the "tone capture". I'm pulling my hair out.

What settings have you chosen under the recorder tab for input device? You would need to use microphone not line in. The USB sound card should have worked assuming the correct input device was chosen.

Just a test...
On your input setting change it to "What U hear" and try the tone test again...
That should verify that ProScan is working...

If that works... Something with the input settings is not right..

What does it show from the pull down...

Not familiar with the Surface audio...

In Windows, when i select the pull down menu under the input, the is nothing else to pull down.

You said youu had a USB input device?
Try that and see if it shows up in the pull down...

This is all there is. It is the USB card, and the one below is the default.
