Do we have the ability to do Bulk Avoids like in Sentinel?
You could use the Find & Replace function or if just wanting to Avoid several channels in the same department then in the grid, right click the first cell that's avoided then choose Fill Down.

If I have two instances of Proscan running (to control two different scanners) do I have to run two instances of the web server (presumably on different ports) to serve audio from both, or is there a way to pipe the data through just one web server?

You may be able to use just one Web Server on one instance. Set the audio left channel to one scanner and the right channel to the other scanner. That's assuming you're not using the BCD536HP Wi-Fi or SDS200 LAN audio as those are 1 channel (Mono).

{edit} Run the Web Server on each instance of ProScan. Yes, each Web Server uses a different port.

Well, one is a SDS200 and the other is a BCT15x so one channel is coming into ProScan over URL already.
If I have to run two web servers, can i just assign one to port 5000 and the other to port 5001?

Yes, that's the only way. If using the Web Servers from outside your network then the Router Port Forwarding needs to be setup for each port.

ProScan Version 17.5 Just Released!
  • Added - BCD536HP & SDS200 LAN - Option "Show Popup Message if Detected Loss of LAN Audio After 30 Seconds". Option to turn on & off located in the URL Setup dialog window.
  • Added - BCD536HP & SDS200 LAN - Option "Restart Scanner Upon Loss of LAN Audio After 5 Minutes". Option located in the URL Setup dialog window.
  • Fixed - BCD536HP & SDS200 LAN - Latency increased over time when using the Loopback function.
This isn't much unless you're using the BCD536HP & SDS200 LAN audio. It's one of the most requested items. I just want to get this out so I can start a new Free Client, then a new RadioFeed, before starting the next ProScan feature.

ProScan is the most powerful and feature rich scanner software in the world !!!

Made in the USA

I've noticed the past few software versions ProScan exits on me when I go to play a new recording that the program just captured. Sometimes when I reopen the program the recording is gone. However more than once now since I learned to click save before playing the recording (incase the program closes out on me), when the program does close and I reopen it even the recording i just saved is gone.

I use a BC346XT for ProScan and all is working fine with both the radio and program other than the issue above.
