In the channel parameters, might you also add tone L/O ?
I'll look into it. Thanks. In the channel parameters, might you also add tone L/O ?
Thanks for the compliments!.This software should have been OEM... Good Job !!
Do you have this setting checked on the right side of the recordings tab? Also in the options then recordings tab you can specify max recording time that will start a new line when that threshold has been met.Sorry if this has been asked before in this huge thread, but I'm more often than not finding that my recordings for a given station with activity is always small little segments of a few seconds.
Basically, every time someone breaks or even if there's a little moment of silence a new recording will start up. Is this something fixed with the Skip Silence Threshold? If so, is there a trick to it? I know it must vary for location and signal strength but I have mine set at pretty much the noise floor (7 for me) where anything above is guaranteed to be actual activity.
Is there another setting I'm not finding? Like for instance a setting that waits x amount of seconds between activity before ending and starting a new recording on the same channel?
I'd just like to be able to take a conversation on a particular channel and have that string of activty without needing to always stitch together segments every time someone unkeys for longer than a half second. SDS100 if that counts too.
Attached example if it helps in understanding, this is just a short two way conversion that's cut every time someone breaks. I'd like it if every instance was recorded as one recording, ie a setting that waits x number of seconds before starting a new recording, like how the scanner waits on the channel.

This issue actually seems to happen more often with conventional channels. P25 and DMR especially not as much. a DMR conversation just now seemed to hang with an orange highlight for a bit before ending the recording.
@ProScan It doesn't appear your message came through, just my quote..
What type of data are you looking for?Is it possible to do a search for entry in the History.log, w/o having to endlessly scroll looking for an entry in the log?
The column sorting is no problem. I am looking for a specific log entry I saw earlier today, that. I can't find. The column sort isn't showing it.What type of data are you looking for?
The columns can be sorted by clicking the column header so it will make it easier to search.
Try unchecking the "Each Transmission New Row" option then go in to the Options - Recorder tab then add %FT (or %TG ) to the Custom Filename Format. That way, each recording is a different talk group ID and conv. frequency.
The recorder will start when the scanner sends the activity flag in the on state and will stop when the scanner sends the activity flag in the off state. You may want to experiment with the channel delay time
It should work. It works here. When the option "Each Transmission New Row" is unchecked, the different conv. frequencies are in separate rows.Good tip, but for conventional it doesn't really help.
The recorder, history logging, and the activity border around the display are all triggered from the activity flag received from the scanner. Can you see if the Activity border around the display turns on when the scanner is on a channel and turns off when the scanner is scanning? That's what's strange. I have the default delay time on my SDS100 of 2 sec for most channels and it will hold a channel fine but ProScan is stopping and starting new recordings after every break or other short silences while the scanner is stopped on a channel.
