Anybody know why when recording with an SDS200, some trunking calls are not putting the UID in the file name even though the UID is being logged in the recording tab? I am using the %U1 parameter in the file name. The calls are not always short transmissions either, sometimes a call of 5 or 6 seconds or even longer it will still fail UID in the name of the MP3 file.
Is there a pattern of them missing from specific systems?

I just downloaded and tried to install 24.1, but both Microsoft and Glary Utilities flagged it as a threat. Anyone else have this happen?

Thanks. Once I found it in Windows Defender and allowed it to run, Glary Utilities was happy. All set now.

For dave3825. It's not that I don't trust Bob or Proscan. I know that this has happened before, I just couldn't remember the steps to get past it. Which is probably what I should have said.

It is a false positive, been happening for a few weeks now, you need to put exceptions in the Windows Firewall, and Glary Utilities.

I have a couple of questions regarding updating text on SDS100/200 scanners using Proscan. I know the 100 has two lines of text for each field (Systems, Departments, & Channel) that are 24 characters wide. If using 24 or less characters the text will center perfectly, however I can not see a way to center the text on both lines if text is more than 24 characters. I have tried using spaces but if using the justify tool it will remove the spaces. Any suggestions?

If the text is longer than 24 characters, wouldn't the extra characters on the left side get cut off? I haven't tried it so I'm going off hand. I have a few issues and other suggestions (that came in initially via email) before I can test this and see what I can do.

From my experience, text longer than 24 characters will force the word that goes over the 24-character limit to go to the second line and the text won't center, the only way I have gotten text lines to center is by having less than 24 characters using only one line. I have found a work around, just manually spacing the characters and not using the justify option for that field.

ProScan Activation Process Hacked?
I have to call out a user. @xxbubziexx for this hack. I'm not sure why he would do this other than just being an Adam Henry.

I haven't tried it so I don't know if it works. I have seen 20 (approximately) users a month from various countries using this hack for some time. (Each month same users). A very small percentage when thousands are using my program monthly. Sales are brisk and it doesn't seem to cause damage but it's more of a principle. At least half of the ones that tried it ended up purchasing a license.

I wouldn't run it, they patched your .net binary so they could have also added other seemingly benign code in there... I'm thinking of the Solarwinds supply-chain hack from a few years ago. Attackers, after compromising the internal Solarwinds development team, injected code into one of Solarwinds' .net DLLs that created a call-back routine to the attacker server to pull down second-stage malware on all the organizations that had that Solarwinds version installed.

Am I doing something wrong? I enabled the quick keys I want to hear, and added them to the file, but they still stream to broadcastify. See attached file.
Try putting in the name of the channel(or tgid) and not just "Channel" and see what happens. If it still doesn't work then see the proscan.org website and the Bug Reporting link. After I get the email, I'll give it a high priority. That being said, it will be next week before I can test it and send you test files if needed.

ok, I'm trying to lock out entire systems from being broadcast to broadcastify, it will probably be Thursday by the time I get a chance to change anything. Thanks for looking at it!
