ProScan Version 1.7 Build 2 includes the RadioReference Imports feature, improved Scanner Over IP, and bug fixes.

Supported scanners are the BCD996T, BC796D, BC785D, BC780XLT, BC296D, and the BC250D.

I'm thriving to make this the best Computer Aided Scanning program and suggestions are very much appreciated.

Works fine for me on Win 11 Pro. 🤷‍♂️

Are you perhaps installing in a restricted directory? Or too deep in a nested directory structure?

I deleted the program and reinstalled it, added my key and the main screen is grated out where I cannot access anything other than file or new. Not having any luck. The upgrade definitely does not like Windows 11 Pro.

Can you post a screenshot.
Did you go to File then Open and navigate to the FL like I advised in my other post?
You don't need to uninstall when upgrading ProScan versions.

This was the first attempt to use the program on this computer. It is new. I installed it set up and entered my key. There is no favorites list on this computer yet. I was trying to read from the scanner and it won't work.

Go into the File menu then click on New then in the "Browse For Folder" dialog, navigate to where you want the FL to be then click on "Make New Folder". Give it a name then click OK. Now it should work.

I believe it only allows installs on a certain number of computers (two?). Could it be that you reached that limit already? If it was on a computer you no longer have or no longer functions but you didn't remove the license from it, Bob can clear your license on his end so it will work on your new computer. Unless I'm misunderstanding, I'm wondering if this isn't the issue? // @ProScan ?

The OP's issue is that he does not have a Favorites List open:

Before data in a Favorites list can be written to the scanner or read from the scanner, the Favorites Editor needs to be opened and a Favorites folder needs to be opened.​

​

1.Go to the Menu --> Favorites Editor.​

3.If creating a new Favorites list: Go to the Favorites Editor Menu --> New then navigate to the folder, type in a file name, and click the OK button.​

Make sure the "Append TO [Time] to Filename" option is not checked.

Options -> Recorder tab -> Append TO [Time] to Filename​
