My apologies if this is the wrong place for this, I am new to the forum.

I am also not sure if this should be part of the LWIN listings.

East Baton Rouge - Department of Public works

Primary Crontrol - 859.01250
Secondary Control - 859.61250
Secondary Control - 858.26250
Secondary Control - 855.71250

Waste Water tlkgrp - 17269
"Collection"?? tlkgrp - 17267
Dispatch tlkgrp - 17254
Traffic Enginering tlkgrp - 17266

I can get more detail this week end, and again I apologies if this is in the wrong place. I would like to know how to add listings if that is even possible for me to do.

What is the System ID for that TRS? Is it P25? If it is P25, then it could be part of LWIN.... If its SysID matches up with the LWIN SysID, then it is LWIN. If the answer of the SysID is no, its not LWIN. If its not P25 its not LWIN. If it is P25, but the SysID does not match the LWIN SysID, then it is its own unique system.

Also, if this system is already in the DB, then please use the submit info button on the db page for that system.

Thank you in advance!

436 HP Audio recordings

I would like any recording for audio for the following parishes in Louisiana : St Tammany, Tangipahoa and Washington. Also will take any from the rest of the state.

The purpose of wanting the tapes is to assist in the ID'ing of any UIDs.

So please send them to fulledavid63601@gmail.com

Thanks.

It seems the 436 is able to post the talkgroup to its recording. Do you know how to integrate the log on the Butel software to the recordings you make with i? Otherwise all you will ever have are audio recordings. Of course you need both the recordings and the talkgroups to properly identify the talkgroup. From what I have read here the 436 is an excelant scanner for p25 and UHF, 700,800Mhz freq but not so great for the old VHF systems. I have a 396 for that.

I have found that if I copied the audio files into a folder and then used the ScanPlayLog (created by TROYMAIL). I can edit the ones I have already Id'd and the ones I have not.

Then paste the ones I do not have into a spreadsheet and then into the programming program I use to program. This tends to help me to them in some kind of order.

Hope this helps.

Any info available for the location of site #105 with CC 769.3437. Must be a new one, don't see it in the db. Most of the traffic on this site is in the New Orleans and Jefferson Parish area. Also is there a new Control Channel for the Airport-MSY site. I have lost traffic from the two Control Channels listed on the db.

In the post of me asking for any audio files for the St Tammany Parish area. It was for the LWIN/and or any system monitorable for the area using the 436 or the 536 hp.

The Corrected e-mail is listed as fullerdavid63601@gmail.com.

Thanks.

I did some research on the new control channel, 769.34375, and here is what I found.

I plugged it into SDR# and it appears to be a P25, control channel. I then setup Unitrunker with the freq. Unitrunker started the LWIN menu, green bars, but heard nothing after 3 hours of monitoring.

I looked up the freq in the RadioReference FCC databank, and found this:

https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?fccCallsign=WQVU993

From what I see, I believe this is the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff Office's new LWIN frequencies when it goes on-line in November. I'm going to monitor it to see when they start testing

Great catch!

Two mornings in a row now (yesterday and today) there was continuous traffic including Jefferson, Orleans and Tangipahoa parish. The system id was definitely LWIN, 1BD

Can anyone confirm the current control channel frequency for the Ramah tower site? I tried the one listed in the database as well as the alternate last week but neither worked. I don't think I was receiving the WBR tower site near or in Port Allen either. Does anyone know the current CC freq for that one too?

Can't I just listen to what I want?

25 years ago scanning was a favorite hobby of mine. Then as the systems began changing over to trunking frequencies, I lost interest. Now, after all these years, I've decided to purchase a new scanner so I got the BCD436HP. I had no idea that it would be so difficult to learn. I bought the ARC536Basic software thinking it would be easier to use than the pre-installed software and the subscription to RadioReference.com. I still can't figure out how to hear specific Talk Groups and scan though only certain frequencies that I want. For instance, I can hear LSU Police when I'm scanning the entire LWIN database, but if I want to listen to only LSU Police, I can't. I tried making a favorites list and adding just the info for LSU Police but then when I select it to scan the screen shows scanning ID's but it doesn't pick up anything. I must be doing something wrong. Does anyone know why
Below is the latest info for LSU. Thank you
