Joe,

I would like to say ' Thank You ' for all the time and work you have put in on this new RadioLog software you have programmed.

Yes, there have been some bugs, but you have taken and listened to all our comments and complaints and have proceeded to fix all error and added new things that others have requested.

I applaud your dedication as a programmer to your RadioLog software, the ability to get right to fixing the issues in a timely manner, also answering questions in a professional manner. IMO: It is a credit to RadioReference, Broadcastify, and to any others that your software is being used for multiple feeds.

A number of others have also said this, but I wanted to add to what they had said and for me personally, I appreciate everything you have been doing.

Thank you very much for all your time, efforts and dedication to this project.

Ric

I second that. Even though everything doesn't work 100% for me yet. I bought it after seeing how fast you respond to these issues. Thank you for your responsiveness. It is appreciated.

Some features I would like to see added are
-Vox recording ability, or only recording when there is traffic.
-Changing the splitting of recording clips, so they can be split into a new file every 10min/30min/hour or whatever you want.
-Maybe later on down the line, having the ability to click on the agency in the log to playback that piece of audio if recorded.

Keep up the great work.

just a few ideas
import export worked nice with transferring the feeds but it never transferred my agencies/units/radio settings

with mdc i believe you could click on the mdc number when it appeared in the log and you could directly assign it from the log screen? Also the mdc numbers don't show up in the radio section in settings to assign the call sign. I have to manually add the mdc i believe you could do these two things in earlier versions

also the columns in the log you can re-size the fields is there anyway to have it lock in place so you dont have to re-size every time you open the program?

Keep up the great work this program is amazing and I appreciate everything you have been doing!
Thanks

Anyone attempt to sort their feeds via the display order function. Not exactly sure how it is supposed to work. If I change the sort order to 1, it moves my feed to a random location on the page.

Maybe I have a misunderstanding of what this function is used for.

Thanks

Yes, it took me a while. You need to sort all of your feeds. Sort in the order you want them to show. If you have one that is not enabled at the time, it wont sort till you you re-start the software.

Also, if you have then set up in different signals sections, then each signal section can be sorted also for each section. Works pretty good once I figure it out.

Also, be sure you ' save settings ' before you close the program. I learned to save the settings each time I changed something, cause I also forget to, especially if I am making several changes and when I start the software next time, I find everything that I changed went back to what it was before I changed it. ( food for thought ) :)

ps: it might be easier to set the feed order you want before you enable them, I found ultimately it as easier for me. Then save the settings for the program, the restart and you should be good to go....

Hello everyon and thank you for the encouragement. There is an update that is ready to go, I am just waiting on the final paperwork for the RR Api to be completed to release it. Many people have sent suggestions and requests in the past few days. This release will have a large number of them, and they will be detailed on tthe release history page.

Hello everyone, there is a new update available. In this update is support for the RadioReference API (pro level membership required). This update also makes a lot of changes to the underlying threading model. If you are streaming a lot of feeds, you will notice a significant change to how quickly the application starts and the feeds connect. I also added some additional logging for stream issues and local scanner connections. This release does not have as many fixes as I would like, but I felt the thread issue needed to be dealt with sooner rather than later. Expect the next release to be Sunday (after I return from vacation).
One more item is to note. At the suggestion of a user, I have created a new way of doing group sales. Instead of one bulk price, we can issue a coupon code so that each member can purchase at a discounted price. Anyone that is interested in a code for their own group can contact me at sales@responderapps.com and I'll set it up.

I tried using the RR feed finder is there a log in after you type in credentials? I tried hitting search but nothing happens. I tried selecting country and "all" is the only thing in the dropdown nothing loads also i do see a loading bar at the bottom of the window that appears and disappears in 1.5 seconds. the state drop down is grayed out but the genre dropdown works. Just not sure if i am doing something wrong.

Thanks for the updates!!

Same problem here. I thought there may be a difference between a "pro" and "premium" account, but I can't find anything on a pro account, so I'm assuming they're the same thing.

Hello everyone and sorry for the delay. I was swamped with work by the time I got back from vacation. I have posted an update (1.1.0.25). This update fixes the API search issues. Also, to clarify, the RadioReference "Pro" text has been changed to "Premium" ("Pro" came from some old API documentation). There are also a few more changes, which are listed in the release history (ResponderApps - RadioLog Release History).

nick223, which list are you talking about? Have you clicked on the "Search" button? I can add a county drop down, but the API does not support searching by county as far as I know. The documentation does not have that, but I can try a few guesses to see if it may be undocumented.

Here is what I'm getting after I hit search. I believe it's suppose to populate a list where the black is?

Question about "feeds"

From the Responder Apps web page:

"DECODE AND LOG SIGNALING FROM AUDIO FEEDS"

"Find out who is talking from streaming feeds and unfiltered audio inputs. MDC-1200 and GE-Star supported now. FleetSync, QuickCall II and Motorola Tactical Public Safety available soon. All signals are logged in easy to read and import text files."

I interpret this to mean "different kinds" of feeds, however, I'm only able to get it to work
with Broadcastify feeds. Am I correct in assuming it works with Broadcastify only?

Would be interested if I could connect to "Live ATC" feeds (Listen to Live ATC (Air Traffic Control) Communications | LiveATC.net)

nick223, You should be seeing feeds after you click "Search" if your user name and password are correct. I will add a message to today's release that will display why a search failed.

cacti21, In addition to line in sources, RadioLog supports streaming MP3 sources. This includes Icy servers which also have embedded tag information. Adding support for LiveATC would be easy, but there is a catch. LiveATC does not allow any 3rd party applications to stream their audio. I will contact them, but it does not look good.

Don't want to start an argument here, listening to Live ATC streaming can be accomplished
with any MP3 player app, windows media player, or flash in web browsers.

thanks for looking into it.

cacti21, No problem. It is strange that they say no 3rd party apps should use their streams, and then each page has a link to 3rd party applications (WinAmp, RealPlayer, etc). They are using Icecast streams, which RadioLog supports. This evening's update will be able to scrape the LiveATC web pages for the appropriate links (Find Feeds, Web Page Search tab). That will make it easier to setup.
