Hello PhillyPhoto,
I sent an email to support@broadcastify.com and they said they are not offering any new API keys. I did state that it is not a mobile application, but they are not issuing any new keys according to the email I received back. It's too bad, because that would make it a LOT easier to find and setup feeds.

That sucks, maybe we should start a petition :)

The version history page is great, very helpful. Would like to be able to see all feeds on one page, ie; the ability to size each window or auto re-sizing when the screen is full. I think in the beginning that was happening.

Active screen still drops out with audio pause or low volume. Maybe a delay function similar to that for the recordings would work?

It appears the recording function is now working, thanks for that.

Would it be possible to separate the left and right audio in streaming feeds? That would be a great extra for those with stereo feeds. The ability to choose the left or right feed or both would be great.

Thanks for all the updates, looking good

PhillyPhoto,
Anything that could be done would be appreciated. The code is written, just need the API key to go with it so I can test it.

johnmac,
I've been making some improvements to the streaming. I should be able to separate left and right feeds, I'll look into that. Can you send me a link with a feed that you are using that has left/right audio? Auto-reconnect will be greatly improved in today's update as well.

Not sure whats going on, but no metadata is being recieved from my scanner and showing in the log, and it is not recording any audio from the line in that i have set. I have deleted them and recreated them and they are still not working. I have attached my log.

kr0490,
Thank you for the log. From looking at it, RadioLog cannot open "COM7". This is usually because another application has the port open (or a previous instance of RadioLog still in memory) or if it is a USB to serial adapter it may have disconnected. I will post an update tonight that will not get stuck under these conditions, but for now try and reboot the computer. When it comes up, make sure the serial port is properly setup before running RadioLog.

I have just posted 1.1.0.23. This release is mostly minor visual tweaks and improvements. It also has a "Normal" and "Small" display so that the feeds don't take up as much space. A full list of changes is posted on the release history page of the web site: ResponderApps - RadioLog Release History

Please be aware, the group and feed colors now match the accent colors. If you were using a color that was not one of these colors, it will be changed back to the default.

When in Small display there is no way to start or stop a feed. Is this by design or a glitch? I would hope that we would have the same controls in the small display otherwise it would not be useful.

Great updates!!

nick223, right now this is not possible. Could you send me an email to support@responderapps.com describing what you are looking for in detail and I will look into it.

johnmac, if you click on the feed settings icon (the gear on the top right of the feed), you can select it there. It's a fine balance between having all the controls and having the small display. I may add 2 new sizes, "Medium" that has the smaller font and buttons and "Extra Large" that has a few more controls and a larger font than "Normal"

The last version I played with is a few revisions old by now, so I'm not sure if this has been implemented, or thought of, but is the a way to mute or enable/disable an entire group with one button? I like mine broken down in to regions, and being able to turn multiple feeds on/off at once would be a nice timesaver.

PhillyPhoto,
Yes, you can mute/unmute a whole group from a single button (on right side of the title of each group). This does not turn off processing or recording, just mutes the audio.

Scanner data is still not being displayed in the log, and the program is not detecting and logging my line in audio, which it did in a much earlier version. Not sure what the issue it. I have again attached the log file.

My feeds use to say "scanning" when no audio was preset. Now the feeds say "YourFeedName" and will be replaced when the first audio is heard with metadata. But the metadata will hold on now to the last name displayed with radio traffic. Instead of going back to "scanning" like it did in earlier versions.

Anyone having an issue of several feeds not connecting? Broadcastify shows they are online, but I can only connect to 8 feeds out of the 27 I have set up in the software. I disable the active ones, and the "disconnected" ones don't connect.
So, I disabled the active 8 feeds, closed the program then opened it again. Now I have 7 feeds running,- different feeds from before of course, but still not all that are marked active. I am running version 1.1.0.23
Thank You..

I am having a similar problem EJW. I believe mine has something to do w/my computer as I use another Scanner Feed software that is having issues as well. On this software some feeds do not ever connect. Some will randomly connect and disconnect; others are solid. All are fine using B/C feeds individually.

kr0490, I am adding some more logging in tomorrow morning's release that will help me track the issue down better. If you have rebooted and made sure that the serial port is setup properly, this will help me find out what exactly is going on. The error that is in your log can be raised for numerous reasons.
nick223, I am going to make the new and old displays selectable in the next version. It will be on a per-fees basis.
kb1ejw and jmarcel66, I am having the same issue. On my personal setup I am streaming 34 feeds. 20 of them are broadcastify feeds. Those are the only ones having an issue. This could be a coincidence, but either way it is something that I am trying to track down. When RadioLog starts, it creates a thread for each feed. Having all these feeds start at once could also be causing the issue, so I will be trying several methods to minimize the issue.

One more note to everyone, I have now been granted and API key to integrate with the Radio Reference/Broadcastify feed catalog. It comes with one catch though, you must be a Pro level radio reference user (user name/password required). This feature will be available once the paperwork is done (probably several days).

Joe,

I notice that with the .23 version, the adjustment setting for maximize in the upper right hand corner , the box in between the - and the X is not working properly now. It used to work with the previous versions. It either full screen or its minimized, nothing in between now. Previously I could click on it and would get a partial screen that I could adjust / resize as needed. I can manipulate it manually by sliding the screen down providing what feeds are open in the top signals area.

Thanks...
