ProScan Version 1.7 Build 2 includes the RadioReference Imports feature, improved Scanner Over IP, and bug fixes.

Supported scanners are the BCD996T, BC796D, BC785D, BC780XLT, BC296D, and the BC250D.

I'm thriving to make this the best Computer Aided Scanning program and suggestions are very much appreciated.

It was Marcotor who said that. Im physically disabled and I DO NOT appreciate comments like that!

Sheldon.

Excuse me, I hope I'm not offending you Sheldon but what does a physical handicap have to do with posting a message like "is that a lie"? You could've rephrased it like "what am I doing wrong?" When I saw "is that a lie", I'm thinking is Sheldon a troll. Come on man besides we didn't know. Marcotor saying give it up could've meant stop posting phrases like "is that a lie".

Has anyone with a 996xt or P2 had an issue with scrolling?

It seems to be one direction only - UP.

I do not see this on my ProScan connected HP scanners (436/536).
I don't see that on a 996P2. Is that the big function / scroll knob? How are you scrolling? Arrow keys, dragging the mouse, touch screen, Using a Web Browser?

Hello All, I run The Pinellas county Fire and EMS Feed using Proscan. I am using a 536HP wirelessly. I have no problem at all when running the feed. I just bought another 536HP and setup a privet server for friends and family. It is also wireless.I have a second instance of Proscan installed. When I am running both at the same time, it works for a little while, then they freeze. Not only does my privet server go down, but it also will crash my regular feed. I don't know if it's because their both running wirelessly or not. I have both scanners on separate IP addresses from the router. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Thanks for any help.

The big scroll knob, yes. 2 996XT's, a BCT15x, and a 996P2.

Scrolling, trying any/all of the above. Arrow keys, dragging the mouse.

It's not a show stopper, more like an annoyance, when holding a channel and having to scroll thru the entire list due to the single directionality to go BACK one channel :)

If I go back to 10.7, it's works fine. Go figure

On the freezing problem, Ver 10.8 fixed a freezing problem when the scanner audio disconnects. I would double and triple check that you don't have multiple instances of ProScan Wi-Fi audio IP address trying to connect to the same scanner.

My version 10.8 is dropping audio on my wifi. I have to connect reconnect to get audio back up and working. This just started with the with the update to 10.8

It has to do with the fixing the freezing problem in 10.8. Can you email me so I can send you a file to see if it fixes the problem. If it doesn't fix the problem then I will send you one more file to bring it back like 10.7

Anyone using the BCD536HP Wi-Fi audio and using Ver. 10.9 or 10.8 may want to use this ProScan file.

A freezing problem was fixed in 10.8 that was caused when the scanner was powered down. Unfortunately another audio problem developed causing intermittent Wi-Fi connections.

I'm confident that this latest file fixes the freezing problem while maintaining solid Wi-Fi audio connections.

Unzip and copy the .exe file over the original 10.8 or 10.9 exe file. http://proscan.org/ProScan.zip

Hi Bob,

I was wondering if we will ever see a revamping of the import system for Proscan from the clipboard so either importing freqs, names etc.. like freescan does or being able to copy/paste lines right into the freq list.

Unless I am missing something it seems we can only import freqs from the clipboard but that leaves all kinds of missing info that needs to be entered manually.

Yes, It's high on the list. Number 3 I believe.
