ProScan Version 1.7 Build 2 includes the RadioReference Imports feature, improved Scanner Over IP, and bug fixes.

Supported scanners are the BCD996T, BC796D, BC785D, BC780XLT, BC296D, and the BC250D.

I'm thriving to make this the best Computer Aided Scanning program and suggestions are very much appreciated.

• Added - 'Get Clipboard' feature for the Non DMA scanners.
• Added - An option 'Wait For Internet Connection' when the program starts if the Source Client, Web Server, or RSOIP is set to automatically start.
• Fixed - Source Client 'Auto Connect' wasn't always automatically reconnecting.
• Fixed - Database Copy & Paste was causing right side channel grid to go out of sync with the left side channels.

Not within ProScan. Perhaps another program can make the virtual display larger. Web browsers using the Web Server feature can make the virtual scanner larger.

Web server audio

the web server audio lags the visual by about 16 seconds when accessing it on another laptop browser or my android phone. It's fine on the server computer.

It's always the media player network/latency buffer causing it.

I just bought ProScan. I'm using it primarily to control the 436 and 536. I would like a feature to allow the resizing of the "Scanner Only" view. Excellent piece of software. Money well spent!

Looks like the latest version of Windows defender is saying proscan v11.2 is infected with the "varpes.m!cl" and removed the main file.

I have had that probĺem since somewhere around v 11. Avast blocks the app until an exception is added to it.

The sorting feature with the ability to click a second column to further sort your logs works perfectly. With the Recordings tabs, when I click on a second column (Talkgroup ID for example), the sort order of the File Name column will not stay the way I need it.
My end goal is to be able to play a selected group of files, in order of oldest to newest, from a specific talkgroup. Right now, I can only play them from newest to oldest within that specific talkgroup.

Something has changed

Recently I have been experiencing something new while using ProScan. When I am scanning with the ProScan Virtual Scanner visible on my monitor, a "Priority On" type of interruption occurs. I have attached a screen grab of the History Logging Screen.

Notice that all durations are shown as zero. In real time I can hear two or three syllables, and occasionally make out a word or two. So it is not really zero, but more like a half second.

If I simply exit ProScan, the real scanner instantly holds on the next "hit", and remains there for the duration of the transmission.

Even if I download from the scanner (deleting all DB systems), the Virtual Scanner restarts scanning as before (same as the screen grab).

It is as if there is a setting that is effecting the Virtual Scanner that is not transferable to the real scanner, or from the real scanner to the program.

Set the "Resume Scan/Search" function to Off. It's located in the upper right area adjacent to the virtual scanner.

Brand new 536 owner :|, experienced 996XT owner .......... maybe I got too absorbed in programming the 536 and can't remember how to set up a separate instance of ProScan for the 536 without altering the existing instance for the 996XT. Can anybody give me a nudge or a little help?

Never mind. Just was too frustrated with Sentinel. A cup of coffee and a break returned my sanity LOL
