ProScan Version 1.7 Build 2 includes the RadioReference Imports feature, improved Scanner Over IP, and bug fixes.

Supported scanners are the BCD996T, BC796D, BC785D, BC780XLT, BC296D, and the BC250D.

I'm thriving to make this the best Computer Aided Scanning program and suggestions are very much appreciated.

You did send me a fix but that didn't solve the issue. Will do a clean install of 11.3 and report back to you.

I am having an issue where everytime my computer restarts I have to unplug and replug the usb on the scanner for ProScan to recognize it. The computer itself recognizes the USB because I am able to use the XT software without having to restart. Any suggestions? Thanks

I'm using version 11.3.

Is there a way to fill an entire column with the same data (example: Audio Type) without having to click and change each entry one at a time?

Is there a way to select an entire listing of frequencies or talkgroup ID's and copy and paste them to another system?

Go to the Utilities menu (color Red) and select Find & Replace. Select the item to replace system, group, or channel level then the param.

{edit} Above answered question 1. For question 2, Do a Copy & Paste at the System level then delete the stuff you don't want.

ProScan Version 11.4

ProScan Version 11.4 Release 11/13/16

  • Added - Separate Broadcast Lockout files for the Source Client and Web Server features.
  • Added - Web Server Update Interval option on the Web Page.
  • Added - Web Server Metadata Delay option on the Web Page.
  • Added - RSSI Logging option to show values from the PWR command or S-Meter.

If using the Web Server feature, you may find the Metadata Delay useful because now you can sync the Metadata Text Tags shown on the Web Page with the audio. It's needed because of the Media Players latency buffer delaying the audio. You may have to experiment with the setting to match the Media Player buffer length. I use 24 seconds with WinAmp.

ProScan supports the BCT15, BCT15X, BC250D, BC296D, BR330T, BC346XT, BC346XTC, BCD325P2, BCD396T, BCD396XT, BCD436HP (without database), BCD536HP (without database), BC780XLT, BC785D, BC796D, BCD996T, BCD996XT, & BCD996P2 scanners.

ProScan is the most powerful and feature rich scanner software in this world !!!.

BCD996P2 Import

I'm a premium subscriber to Radio Reference and also a brand new owner of a BCD996P2. I also purchased the Proscan software. When I open Proscan and try to import from radio reference under the radio reference subscriber option it keeps telling me I need to open a database. Does anyone have any suggestions on why this isn't working on a brand new BCD996P2 out of the box?

Thanks

Thanks, I've now got that far and imported the database from radio reference. I then uploaded it to the scanner. It's a P25 system which I'm new to. The groups are in the scanner but it says nothing to scan. Learning this new system is taxing to the brain waves. Do I need to setup something else within the scanner?

Thanks

Great, I'll have to read the manual again and look for turning the system on that was imported. Sorry for the late reply but I had to go to a meeting tonight. Is there a brief way of turning it on while I'm learning the setup and tweaking of this new scanner? Your help has been appreciated. Thanks

I would check that you have a site node under the system node and it contains frequencies.
