Is anyone else noticing background 'clicks' when using MP3 format for RSOIP? G729 format doesn't seem to have any clicks over the same networks.
Hey Bob, I may have found a bug in V 11.7
When trying to see the displayed data from the C-CH Output, I no longer get anything at all. Using an BCD396XT, with C-CH Output set to on, extended both... Nothing is displaying on the ProSCAN screen.
Update: On the C-CH screen, I can only see LTR data displayed, no Motorola or P25. On the tests screen I can see the Moto and P25 data scrolling but not on the C-CH screen. So yep, this is an bug.

Add failure to save ANY P25 NAC to the list of bugs. CTCSS and CDCSS it saves with no issues, but it now fails to save a single P25 NAC. Type in, or use the drop down to click on an NAC, hit save, and then go back to the listing after going to another group, and it is right back to NAC search.
I am having it with new Del version 11.7 maybe I need to fully uninstall and start fresh

I was thinking the Metadata delay on the Web Page was to delay the Metadata by x seconds as displayed in the graphical representation of the scanner?
It doesn't seem to be doing that for me, or I am doing something wrong.
Or is it just the textual metadata at the bottom of the webpage. (which it is doing)
Could you clarify this?
Thanks
MArk
I have recording turned on and noticed that some of the folders have mp3's in them and some don't.
But the Recorder screen is showing them as being recorded, but they cant be played back since the mp3 file isn't there.
I am using the default Recording Folders (%D\%S) and Filename format (%DT - %S - %C)
For one of the ones not working:
%S = Lancaster County-Wide Communications (LCWC) - Northwest Simulcast
%C = South Police Dispatch
So it creates the directory for the Date
Under that it creates a DIrectory named:
Lancaster County-Wide Communications (LCWC) - Northwest Simulcast
But it never creates a filename
DATETIME County-Wide Communications (LCWC) - Northwest Simulcast - South Police Dispatch.mp3
I thought it might have been the parens in the directory name, but if I change the Folder to %D\%C and the Filename to %DT - %C, I get folders named:
Fire-EMS Dispatch B (Northeast)
And under that a file named:
01-26-17 13-46-10 - Fire-EMS Dispatch B (Northeast).mp3
Is the length of something too long????
Thanks
Mark
BTW, if anyone is running ProScan on Windows 10 inside a VirtualBox environment on OSX, are you able to see the scanner when the scanner is in Serial Port mode? VB sees the radio and ProScan sees the radio's port inside Windows 10, but ProScan can't seem to talk to the radio. I'm fairly certain this is a VirtualBox thing and not a ProScan thing, but thought I'd ask here anyway.
