It should be exactly like the scanner favorites_lists folder contents. No txt files at all.

I'm looking to see if I had previously purchased a Proscan license, I tried to enter my info and it said it was already taken, is there a way you can look and see if I had one? I can't msg you so I had to msg it here, sorry

downloaded it and testing now :) very nice

-------------------------------------------- Edit for suggestion--------------------------------------------
on the headers for the channels (not sure elsewhere yet) it would be nice to be able to select multiple channels and make changes to things like delay and color/alerts etc etc

Thanks, I'll look into it. The Find & Replace will do the same thing but this way may be quicker for a few rows.

find and replace is nice but if importing from RR its difficult to assign color codes and such to 100+ channels im a special case as i travel all lower 48 constantly using the built in DB but when i am staying for a time i make my own custom lists

It's already figured out. Will be in next version. It will be like this.
1. Click on a column to change.
2. Select the rows to change.
2. Right Click and click on Replace.
2. All selected rows column will change values to the first row selected.

Bob,
I am now using the latest and I really love where this is going. I have only one issue and that is when you download from the RR database, the service type for everything defaults to Custom 1. I have tried find and replace but it does not seem to be usable for service types. Takes forever to change manually as copy and paste doesn't seem to be an option either. Otherwise, a great addition to an already great program.

All the channels will show as Custom1 when importing from the RRDB as the scanner uses the same default when adding channels. I see the RRDB API has a "fccRadioServiceCode" I'll look into that to see if it's useful and a correlation with the BCDx36HP "Service Type" so the Service Type can reflect the RRDB when importing.

Find & Replace does work. Be sure you're selecting the right type of channel to search; conv. freq or TGID. and "Where To Find" is set correctly.

WX4JCW had a great suggestion with replacing values in cells, I put it in right away and I'm going to put it in the DMA and Non-DMA database too.

It works like this:
1. Select a cell containing the value to copy from.
2. Hold down the shift or control key and left click the other cells to copy to.
3. Right Click and click on "Replace Values In Selected Cells With First Selected Cell".

Here is the link to the new file. It's a exe file only. Unzip and copy the exe file over the original exe file.

I believe you want the tags element, which would return the Service Type for both conventional frequencies and trunked talkgroups (as it's known by Uniden, otherwise known as the Function Tag in the RRDB)

Got it figured out. It turned out the numeric codes are exactly the same as the scanner file format so no conversion was needed.

now if we could have a way to assign color codes to tags automatically on the RR database download that would be cool as well
