Hi Bob,

I had my ProScan installed on a desktop. I also had it installed on at least one laptop, maybe two. The desktop went South. I replaced it with a very similar model. I found my user/key info, and proceeded to download/install ProScan on the new desktop. When I went to activate the software, I am given three choices: Buy, OK, and Enter Key. I select Enter Key, and am told I have used up all my allowed downloads (3?). I try Buy, and am told
Registration Name Taken - Choose Another
Buy more licences is fine, but not sure how I should proceed?

Email me on any key issues.

Still have no clue how as ProSCAN won't find it.

What type of scanner? Is it a BCDx36HP type and is the scanner in serial port mode? Check the Windows Device Manager to see if the port is working and same port numbers is listed in the ProScan Comm Port settings.

Turns out the driver never actually installed for the 436 serial port. I didn't catch it as sentinel was working fine as far as I could tell.

Okay. And as you know, Sentinel uses Mass Storage mode and not Serial Port mode so it wouldn't catch it.

Bob 11.8 imports to 996p2's DMR as any and no tone on single repeaters

When you say "any" That's the TDMA Slot. Correct?
When you say "no tone" That's the Color Code. Correct.
Are you importing or actually uploading to the scanner? If uploading to the scanner, what's the firmware version?
Are you importing from RRDB?. If so, what's the sid #?
Are you importing from Sentinel or are you importing from a ProScan file?
Is the system type importing a DMR One Frequency type?

Bob go to Tn Dyer County import Newbern PD and Dyer County SO then look at how they go into the scanner
I am importing from RR Database straight to PROSCAN then load to scanner but you will see it in PROSCAN before you load the scanner.

Conv with no CC set to any not digital

I'll look at this before the next release.

I wish you would answer my questions so it would be easy for me to analyze the problem. I basically used up my brain power for today.

One more time please. Can you provide a RadioReference link and the name of the agency importing.

Bob I sent you an email on another issue.

Yes I got it. But first I want to look at this issue. I've already started on this problem. Can you provide a link of the system you are importing.

{edit} Does the system show in the RR Import Dialog in the "County" section or the "County Trunk Systems"?

I got it now. Those systems are reported as conventional. I don't know what the fix is. They do have a DMR mode type, CC, Tone, TGID but they are conventional. I don't know if a hack is needed or what the fix should be at this point. Is in on the RadioReference side, ProScan side, neither, or both? I don't know.

I'll look into importing the Color Code but I don't think the TDMA Slot or TGID can import to a conventional system

buddrousa,
I'll look into importing the Color Code on conventional systems and I'll put in a prompt that a DMR conventional system is detected. Do you want to make it a DMR One Frequency system.
