ProScan Version 1.7 Build 2 includes the RadioReference Imports feature, improved Scanner Over IP, and bug fixes.

Supported scanners are the BCD996T, BC796D, BC785D, BC780XLT, BC296D, and the BC250D.

I'm thriving to make this the best Computer Aided Scanning program and suggestions are very much appreciated.

Latest update 14.4 has cleared the History Logging and UID Logging windows.
Both txt files and other are still there (and backed them up too), but why with the latest update did it clear both windows.
Windows have nothing to show, just like a clean install.

I did not experience the same issue. After update I still see History and UID data from yesterday.

14.2 is the latest. Probably you unchecked the Startup option "Load Logging Data..." prior to installing the latest version.

Enjoying Proscan very much! I have my 996P2 connected to it and it is helping me understand this scanner better, and learning new things with this software as I go. Soon I will be connecting my BCT15X to it as well. The only thing if I may suggest for future upgrade would be to add another column to the data base page with rows for comments or notes for each frequency programmed.. this would just be handy to have. Thanks for a nice scanner package!!!

On the suggestion? Probably not. At least not anytime soon. I have several other suggestions and a few of my own that I will be working on.

No firmware cannot be updated using ProScan.

I've been getting a TGID on a Conv. Freq. listing.. See Attached (1st Line)..
I noticed it is only on that dept. no matter which line it's on..
It might be because that Dept. also tones out EMS on that freq..
But the TGID that shows, is always one that is on the list of TGID below it (random TGID, but on the list).

After leaving proscan up for a while, I noticed that now I have 3 lines (1st 3 lines) for the same freq., showing 3 TGID on the Conv, freq. (Each trans. a new row is unchecked).
I think this only happens when proscan is minimized, or another a program is running over the proscan window.

Are you wanting to add on the same computer?
If it is multiple computers I have 2 different licenses running on 4 computers.
On one of the four I have 13 copies running at the same time and that only counts as 1 license.

If asking about purchasing another license, Choose a different Reg Name when purchasing and I can combine then upon request. Licenses issues handled via email.

OK, will do that when I get home from work tonight. Had it installed on my desktop computer and on my laptop, but got a new laptop and unable to install so will purchase again and let you know...

Can't you just go to the old laptop, run Proscan then click on TOOLS then Remove Activation ?
That will allow you to install it on the New Laptop, and activate it.

As long as the poster is not going to use the old laptop that will work if he needs a 3rd PC then he will have to buy to have more licensee.
