For anyone who want to try the latest ProScan pre-release version 14.4. A lot of changes were made internally. It should be production quality.
I want to make sure all is okay before packaging it up and releasing the final 14.4

Unzip and copy both files in to the ProScan folder. Exit ProScan first.

https://proscan.org/ProScan.zip

  • Fixed - Google Map - Address mapping stopped working.
  • Fixed - Recording option - Delete < 2 Seconds Recording Entries wasn't deleting the file.
  • Fixed - BCDx36 & SDS100 - Importing RadioReference DMR systems then writing to scanner was changing system type to P25.
  • Fixed - DMA scanners - DMR One-Freq Trunk Systems wasn't importing from RadioReference.
  • Fixed - Web Server - Web Page wasn't showing file modified date when serving files (recordings).
  • Fixed - BCD436HP, UBCD3600XLT, & SDS100 - Big Knob double clicking wasn't working.
  • Fixed - BCD536HP Wi-Fi audio streaming to Broadcastify/Icecast servers was intermittent.
  • Fixed - Web Server problem with changing passwords and users still logged on with old passwords.
  • Fixed - Memory leak from the mp3 encoding process causing crashes.
  • Added - Web Server - Function button on the web page in case the browser or OS touch screen not responsive to double clicks.
  • Added - Recorder Grid File Explorer buttons.
On bug reporting: Send me an email as usual and and I will send back test files until fixed.

web server fix is working good if you change password everybody get disconnected thanks Bob

So far, so good. Thanks also for fixing that little quirk with the Display Only window, where clicking on it would cause it to "jump". Thanks, Bob! (y)

Well I had the new version but Norton decided it had a virus and deleted it. Sometimes I hate Norton.

I could report the false positive. I just need to know the Norton product type and name of virus.
Also could add ProScan to the Norton exemption list.

windows 10 also block this version of proscan but if you click on more info and run anyway it's ok and after avast antivirus block it then need to add it to white list and 14.4 is working perfect since yesterday no problem on my side

Thankyou for the new version! I ended up purchasing a 436HP specifically for ProScan as I missed using your software. The 436-PT doesn't allow serial communication.

v14.4 - so far, so good with the 436HP.

Is there any chance of adding a Column in History Logging to make a log of the Slot number (Slot1 or Slot2 - as shown on Uniden scanners)?

No need to add a Slot number column. The slot number is shown with the frequency.

One thing I have noticed since using the web Server.

Logged on as Super User it will cause the main feed computer to have proscan not responding. (not right away but over time) I was version 14.4 on the User side but running 14.3 on the FEED, Web server, and RSOIP.

Have since changed both to version 14.4

EDIT: OMG what was I thinking I was using Chrome and the web server was 14.3 since changed to 14.4 disregard the above info

Wondering something about Proscan.

I use to be able to log into RSOIP while connected on the same network using the evansvillescanner.webhop.me address. Now I can't use that address locally and have to use the local address of the feed computer. Has this been changed? At first I thought the port was blocked. Open Port check says it sees the server. So I had Jeff of Ham Station fame check and he says it works fine.

So why is this different now?

No changes. Perhaps you have an Internet Security program that needs ProScan (latest build) added to the exemption list.

Did you change your router/hardware-firewall settings? It sounds like NAT Loopback is no longer working...

Well I have changed ISP's along with changes to modems and routers. But, as of now I am back with Spectrum albeit with different equipment.

Went from Spectrum to AT&T (sucks) and back to Spectrum.

I didn't mention that the web server is the same. If I am on the same network I can't access the web server w/o using the computers local IP address. If I use another network ie AT&T on my phone I use the external address and it works fine.
