Bob, I watched over 24 hours and it was fine. Evidently when I closed the browsers while logged in as SUPER USER it makes the server NOT RESPONDING. This happened on my Broadcastify feed computer and 1 instance running on my main computer. Note: there are 3 instances on my main computer and only the one I was logged into and closed the browser stopped working. I think it was Chrome but may have been IE probably IE...

I am having color problems with SDS100 Display in 14.4 pre-release version it will display the BCD536HP color on some of the Systems not all of them I am not using individual folders for each scanner.

Where is the CFG file for the colors? I keep having to cancel as it never finds it.

I woke up today to find Proscan not Responding. I didn't log on. Trying to run broadcastify feed and web server w/o RSOIP and see if it freezes like that. Last night the Feed computer was the only one running Proscan. Program runs fine running feed and RSOIP. Got me stumped, I like the web server.

Any further issues with ProScan and I'll send you an email. This forem isn't really the place for the discussion.

When did this start happening?
What version are you using?
What OS version?

On app Not Responses, it's kind a difficult to pin point the problem. The apps don't throw an exemption. Does the Win Event Viewer (-> Windows Logs -> Applications ) show anything? or just ProScan App Hang?

Perhaps try to isolate this by not serving the Folders & Files or not running Web Server at all for a few days. Perhaps a test instance in a different folder.

{edit} I would also look at e Win Updates if any new video driver installed.

Email is usually the best way to fix problems especially if I can't duplicate the problem. I always send out test files to help determine where the problem is. However In this case with the ProScan Not Responding problem, I think test files are impossible to do to help isolate the problem.

Hey Bob, ran into a interesting issue the last week or so. I keep losing my source audio (line in). It had done it yesterday, and I thought it was odd. I got up this morning and again I had no audio to source client. I don't recall if I had still had audio to the recorder or I did after I had made changes prior to getting my source audio. I know at one point this morning, I had audio to the recorder (line in) but didn't to the source client, again Line in. I don't recall if I had switched the source on the recorder then switched it back to get the recorder audio working.

Rebooted scanner, no change
Rebooted Computer, No change
Disabled and enabled sound device in windows, No change
But, if I change the input sound device in Proscan to something else, connect on my source client, disconnect, change back to my line in source and reconnect then I have my audio back and all is well.

Proscan is up to date
Windows 7 home premium x64 Up to date with all updates (automatic)
BCD15x

Any ideas?

Thank you for all you do, Bob

Are you using the Primary Sound Device Capture Device for the input?
Are you using an USB audio device?

It sounds like the audio cable is intermittent. Wiggle both ends to see if it clears up. For troubleshooting purposes, check the Win Mixer if those level indicators move with audio.

I don't believe any problem or bug with ProScan as the audio model has been the same for years and I never heard of a problem like this. Just a problem with using multiple USB audio devices with the same name assignment.

I am using the "line in" on the SoundMAX Integrated Sound device.

When I didn't have any Audio, I did check the Win Mixer levels and moved them. No change/ No audio.

I also have unplugged and replugged the audio cable and nothing changed, No Audio.

The only thing that seemed to work was changing the audio source to a different one, IE Primary Sound Capture device, or Microphone, etc. then switching it back.

I almost wonder if a windows update may have changed something. I will continue to troubleshoot, when it does it again, and will advise.

Been running it this way for over a year and never had an issue till recently.

Thanks, Bob

If you go into Device Manager - are there any 'Unknown Devices' or devices that have an exclamation point. Maybe there are drivers that need updating or installing?
If you can pinpoint a time frame, I think in Windows Event Viewer, you can look at the System logs to find out if devices had issues. Maybe that'll clue you into what needs fixing?

Is there any way to modify the 10 second delay for autoreconnect on RSOIP? I have determined that the daily 200+ disconnects I have on a remote scanner are something outside the house. Unfortunately, the bulk of the missing traffic time seems to be counting up to 10 seconds to try to reconnect. If the online time was days, 10 seconds isn't a big deal.
