So is there how to use ProScan some where?

I always advise to try the 30 day fully functional demo/trail. Your questions may be answered by using it. I try to make the program as self explanatory as possible, however with many features, it may be information overload at first. Each feature is in a seperate tab to help making it more clear. There is a manual by going to the the Support -> Manual menu if that will help.

Are you having trouble with a certain area such as ProScan communicating with the scanner, opening or importing to the database, streaming the scanner on-line, or other?

Here is another preview of ProScan version 14.8 with NXDN support for the BCD325P2 & BCD996P2 scanners.
If you downloaded an earlier preview version 14.8, I suggest downloading this.

This fixes the incorrect LCN numbers on NXDN systems.

This isn't the official release so it's not packaged into a setup file and will not show if checking for newest version within ProScan.

This is just the executable. Unzip and copy the exe file over the original. Stop ProScan first.

So okay,done what you said unless I missed something cause am not programmer. I now have to keep starting from the beginning
ever-time I start the program even though I saved before ending.

If your talking about the database, go to the Database menu then Open the database file you previously saved.

Also go to the Options -> Start Up tab and check the box "Load Database" so the previously saved file will open when ProScan opens. This box is checked by default so the database file should've opened automatically unless you unchecked it.

What about the proscan.zip file,the executable file you recently made? How and where does that go? I'm bit confused.

ProScan Version 1.7 Build 2 includes the RadioReference Imports feature, improved Scanner Over IP, and bug fixes.

Supported scanners are the BCD996T, BC796D, BC785D, BC780XLT, BC296D, and the BC250D.

I'm thriving to make this the best Computer Aided Scanning program and suggestions are very much appreciated.

Sounds more like operator error vs buggy software. Plenty of us have been running ProScan for many years with no issue. Judging by your flurry of recent posts in this thread, you seem to be having trouble reading directions and following simple instructions. Please don't blame good software for your failings.

The OS is sending the error. I would first try to select another selection. If that doesn't work then restart ProScan. If still doesn't work then reboot the computer.

The last WIn update shows on 3/13. A cumulative update, a Microsoft Outlook and a Microsoft Office update. On 2/23/19 there was a cumulative .NET framework update and two Adobe updates. I checked the audio in driver. It shows 9/14/18 date for the driver and is supposedly the latest. When I check the details it shows device started, device configured and device migrated on 2/23. If there is anything wrong with the computer it is not apparent yet to me.

I just Googled "realtek audio undefined external error" and it came up with other people having this type of problem and many solutions. Why don't you Google it substituting "realtek" with your sound device. I don't know if the solutions will work but It's worth a try.
Don't put in "Unable to open source client " as that is specific to ProScan.

This fixes the NXDN RAN #'s imported from the RRDB. Also the DMR Color Codes imported from the RRDB broke yesterday and now is fixed.
