I just Googled "realtek audio undefined external error" and it came up with other people having this type of problem and many solutions. Why don't you Google it substituting "realtek" with your sound device. I don't know if the solutions will work but It's worth a try.
Don't put in "Unable to open source client " as that is specific to ProScan.

Thanks Bob, That was it. I do have Realtek and the solution is to turn on the Microphone in Settings, which mysteriously was turned off.
If you get a prompt upon startup that X amount of days remaining then it is still in the trial.
RadioReference Login is saved if the "Remember Me" checkbox is checked.
Yes when click on the ProScan icon ,I get the "Run Box"
Did you install as administrator?
Did you set it up to run as administrator?
If not it may not save changes.
I would start with the "Run Box". I don't know what that is but it doesn't seem right. Perhaps you didn't install ProScan correctly. I would redownload and install ProScan first. A double click should start ProScan.
The config (ProScan.cfg) file should save when not running as administrator. ProScan by default does not run as admin. I always advise not to run as Administrator. The reason is the Sessions Manager will not work right if some instances are elevated to admin and others are not.
I just ran the software. Honestly I have no idea if it's running in admin mode or not?
Bob --- I am sorry if I am vague ,frankly usually figure things out. But I'm stump. So let me try more info. Version 14.7 works okay,it's when I over lay the updated executable file that issues begin. I'm running BCD325P2 and we have MotoTrbo and NXDN systems here. When I'm done, I exit out after saving.
So if won't offer any more help, can you tell me how to completely delete your software including ghost files.
What about the proscan.zip file, the executable file you recently made? How and where does that go? I'm bit confused.
Thanks Bob
It appears you need some help with some basic computer skills. Maybe you have a friend or family memeber that can help you with that. Reading through this thread it's evident that the frustrations you're having does not have anything to do with ProScan. ProScan is not a buggy program. Thousands of people use it and think very highly of it. Bob offers great support for his program!
Hi,thank for your input. so you just copy and paste the executable to the proscan folder right, I did that. I'm fairly good at computer, granted not expert. iMonitor, if I could read it or see it, like youtube video,I be fine. That's why I asked early on if there was manual or something. I also
said early on that am no programmer.
Yes know their some very satisfied users and those users for most part have been using proscan for while,I'm newbie coming from using Freescan for years,so since Freescan is no longer supported, well here I am imonitor.
Yes,it's very well extremely frustrating with those you ask, are well is either the software designer or users with years of use. I come to the forum for help.
Okay, that's exactly files I have including the new executable file. Which I copied over.
I appreciate your help. The issue I'm having,is when I click on ProScan icon on desktop,it always ask me to run the program likes it's fresh start.
However all my previous data when I closed it out when I last used it
