ProScan Version 1.7 Build 2 includes the RadioReference Imports feature, improved Scanner Over IP, and bug fixes.

Supported scanners are the BCD996T, BC796D, BC785D, BC780XLT, BC296D, and the BC250D.

I'm thriving to make this the best Computer Aided Scanning program and suggestions are very much appreciated.

Couple of things:
Current and Peak Listeners is not working on the Source Client Tab, not a big deal but I noticed it.
Love the Broadcast L/O even if I have not got a chance to try it yet.

In my Alpha Tags (metadata source) I show the Radio ID's. is there a way to get the names in there rather then just the radio ID #?

What type of server are you streaming to?

Hmm changing that fixed it. I wonder why it went to that. I've never changed it to icecast.

My stuff was more questions, the only bug was the current/peak and that was my fault I guess.

So lets throw another question.

i put 142.8450 in the broadcast lockout list but it didn't do anything when that freq came up, it streamed as normal. Do i need to stop the start proscan or the feed for it to work or does it kick it right away after saving?

I loaded Version 4.4.8 from 4.4.7.
Noticed that it will no longer do audio recordings. Also very slow in changing from a tune selection
back to a system select. I changed back to 4.4.7 and it is working fine. Just a little input for debugging.

• Fixed - Clicking on the Caption Icon box in the options would cause an error.
• Fixed - Win 7 64 Bit installing in the " \Program Files (x86)" folder wouldn't load.
• Fixed - Last call highlight in the Logging tab disappeared as soon as the scanner resumed scanning.
• Many many more small improvements.

Issue With Text Tags

With both 4.48 and 4.5, text tags don't show properly when using the following custom format: %F %L1 The only thing sent by Proscan with this custom format is the Frequency. Line 1 (%L1) does not get sent.

With RadioFeed 1.13 the %F %L1 works fine.

Bob,

Selectable Caption Icon is great feature! I like it, because run 4-5 copies of ProScan simultaneously. See screenshot in attach.

But one suggestion - custom icons does not show scanner activity in system tray. They are not blinks, not change color & etc. Could you please add something to mark active ProScan instance? E.g. blinking by color icon or alternative .ico for 'active' mode? Or maybe blinking with standard brown icon? Something just to mark active ProScan instance.

Thanks for your job. ProScan is really the best scanner recorder/logger I ever seen. And I'm very glad that you reinstated project.

One more small suggestion. After HDD detachment, ProScan loose user-defined Recording Location (changes to program folder w/o any notice), but remains Log File Location. It will be better to keep both forever (until user will change manually). It's real pain if you use external USB/eSATA HDD.

Suggestions should be emailed to me. When it comes time, I like to get additional input and send out test files. When suggestions are scattered here and there, I won't remember them.

All i am seeing is 4.4.7 here. I tried looking from a few different machines and cleared the cash on all of them but same thing 4.4.7 can't see 8 anywhere. Was it pulled?
