ProScan Version 1.7 Build 2 includes the RadioReference Imports feature, improved Scanner Over IP, and bug fixes.

Supported scanners are the BCD996T, BC796D, BC785D, BC780XLT, BC296D, and the BC250D.

I'm thriving to make this the best Computer Aided Scanning program and suggestions are very much appreciated.

Please tell us how. I've got an iMac, Parallels, and Win10 Home. I can't get my ProScan to work consistently.

FINALLY FIXED! - Mac / Parallels / ProScan issue

I'm a Mac user who was trying to run ProScan via Parallels. After a couple years of frustrating intermittent success, I've finally discovered the key to getting these things to work together well. I simply uninstalled Windows, uninstalled Parallels, and used the Mac BootCamp Assistant to load Windows onto it's own partition.

Now, using ProScan, I can move seamlessly between scanners, hot swap them, upload programming, etc. No more bull****, no more headaches, no more deaf scanners due to band plan or system changes - it simply works like what the Windows native people experience. If you're having trouble with ProScan and Parallels, get rid of Parallels, save your money, and use BootCamp instead!

Using Win 11 and no issues noted. I do not broadcast so cannot comment on that aspect.

I'm running 2 instances on a Windows 11 computer and both are broadcasting Radio Over IP with zero issues.

Hey, just a side note here. Sometime back I had a fatal system crash. As I recall, re installing Proscan, it worked.
After an upgrade, now all I get is the nag screen to buy a license key.
Looks like the upgrade turned this back into demo and since time bombed.
I don't use it much, but it is nice. I really don't mind buying another license if that is what it takes.

You don't have to purchase another license. All license issues should be done via email.

I misread this. Do you have the key that was sent to your email address when you purchased? If you do then enter that in else send me an email if you lost the key.
Upgrades do not remove the activation. You may have uninstalled ProScan and clicked the wrong choice when prompted to remove the activation.

Maybe I am missing something obvious in the Favorites editor. is there a Toggle t switch between AFS and Decimal format for the TGIDs when editing an EDACS system?

Negative. That would be in the profile. Per the FAQ page - ProScan doesn't have a profile editor as it would be 100% duplication that couldn't be improved on so I could spend time in other areas. I was thinking of doing but I'm working in other areas

Small update but an important one for anyone using the Web Server feature.

• Fixed - Web Server - Virtual scanner buttons on iPhone browsers stopped working due to a recent IOS update.
• Fixed - Web Server - Browsers using the Push mode wasn't updating the virtual display when refreshing the browser many times.
• Fixed - Database for the BCD996P2 and BCD325P2 scanners - Wasn't importing the DMR One-Freq Trunk Color Codes from the RRDB.
