ProScan Version 1.7 Build 2 includes the RadioReference Imports feature, improved Scanner Over IP, and bug fixes.

Supported scanners are the BCD996T, BC796D, BC785D, BC780XLT, BC296D, and the BC250D.

I'm thriving to make this the best Computer Aided Scanning program and suggestions are very much appreciated.

Is that Microsoft Defender or another antivirus software?
I see that VirusTotal shows Microsoft Trojan:Win32/Sabsik.TE.B!ml
I don't see it with Microsoft Defender when I download and install version 22.8. Using the latest definition 1.407.403.0 and no allowed threat exemptions in place.
Yeah, Defender backed by EDR.
We're checking the PC now and will ensure the new version was installed this morning.

Is there a search function in proscan? Want to do a query on talk groups without scrolling through the logs. I looked through proscan but didn't see any search function. Thanks.
There's a Find function on both the UID Logging and Recorder tabs. You can search by "Talg Group ID" on both.

I upgraded to 22.8 and everything seemed to be working fine. Defender V1.407.503.0 came along and killed it.

Detected: Trojan:Win32/Bearfoos.A!ml

I restored the "threat" and all is well again.

I clicked on the UID logging tab. Brought up notepad document. I stopped to ask if this is supposed to do this?
Clicking the "UID Lookup File" will bring up the text editor associated with txt files.

Click this button circled. Same type of button in the Recorder, UID Logging, and FTO Logging. tabs

I'm seeing a new issue that seems to have appeared in the last few versions of ProScan (currently running 22.8).

ProScan will continue to receive and log data from the scanner (SDS100) but will stop recording audio. Testing for tone with "Tone on capture side" produces no audio. In order to restore audio I simply restart ProScan. Best I can tell the audio device remains connected in Windows and no restarting or reconnecting of devices is required, just a restart of ProScan.

I checked my instance of ProScan running and recording for 'discovery' purposes the other day and noticed it had stopped recording the audio (though still logged in the Recording tab). I chalked it up to a Windows issue (i.e. made an assumption). There was a pending Windows update anyway so I rebooted everything as it did that update and then things worked again. Maybe it was a ProScan issue, not sure.

That machine is still on Win10. If it happens again I will investigate further.

Simiar symptoms. Everything is being logged, directories and MP3 files are being made, they're just 0Kb and no audio in them.
