ProScan Version 1.7 Build 2 includes the RadioReference Imports feature, improved Scanner Over IP, and bug fixes.

Supported scanners are the BCD996T, BC796D, BC785D, BC780XLT, BC296D, and the BC250D.

I'm thriving to make this the best Computer Aided Scanning program and suggestions are very much appreciated.

Greetings,
is it possible to run two incidents of Proscan using a SDS 200, one incident Lan, second incident USB? If yes, do I need to rename the second incident a different folder name?
TIA

Yes, you coulkd do that. The 2nd instance of ProScan needs to be in a seperate folder so just copy the contents of one folder to a new folder. Start the 2nd instance and set the options pertaing to that instance.

Are you trying to run two instances on the SAME radio at the same time?

If you do it will work but not with separate activity or programming.

Yes, I just found this out. just no way getting around this. I really do not want to get another scanner. Thanks for the help.

Right. Yeah, the scanner is essentially one receiver 'lane' so no way to have two lanes in the scanner at the same time.

To do what (it seems like) you're wanting to do, you will need more than one scanner.

Is there anything that can be done in ProScan to make it better or address a certain issue.
The only two changes I would like to see, is the ability to select and copy individual, or multiple boxes directly from the logging grid. It would make it much easier to add UID's with a right click and copy, instead of sending it to a different file first. Also, while editing the UID, all previously typed text disappears whenever additional traffic comes through.

These two things are just minor inconveniences for a handful of us OCD folks. Otherwise, it is perfect! It is the best radio related software I've purchased by far, and my only regret is not getting it sooner!

That's the UID Logging grid. The whole row is selected and not individual cells when clicking anywhere on the row. That's by design so clicking anywhere on the row will select the row to be played back or deleted.

Clicking this button has an option to move the UIDs directly to the database.

It seems that I have been doing it the hard war for no reason. I'm just glad it wasn't a poisonous snake hiding right there in plain sight :ROFLMAO:

I would like for there to be a default or selectable setting where the active and/or the most recent activity logged goes to the top of the log and stays brightly highlighted while active and lightly highlighted when it is not active.

For some reason I cannot make any settings that accomplishes this.

Sounds like a good ideal. Can you send me the suggestion via email

I feel the gps mapping system on proscan has been neglected. I'm trying to map sites but there is no way to, I don't want to make multiple system just to map each site, it would be very tedious. Could it be upgraded to map multiple sites in a single system? Because I don't want to have to deal with this when I get a gps for my scanners.

Can you further explain what you mean? I have one system where every site has its own coordinates so I'm not following.

What is the scanner type ProScan is set to?

Are you assessing the google maps from the database/favorites or the Tools menu?
Perhaps a screenshot or two would be helpful.
