ProScan Version 1.7 Build 2 includes the RadioReference Imports feature, improved Scanner Over IP, and bug fixes.

Supported scanners are the BCD996T, BC796D, BC785D, BC780XLT, BC296D, and the BC250D.

I'm thriving to make this the best Computer Aided Scanning program and suggestions are very much appreciated.

@ProScan I have two instances(not licenses) running.

One for my BCD436HP, one for my SDS100. I've been trying to change the display via Proscan, on the SDS100. They both say BCD436HP, when I turn them on. Every time I enter 'SDS100' in Proscan, it doesn't save.

What am I doing wrong?

Restarted computer, proscan, reconnected audio LAN. Im at a loss lol just weird how some talkgroups are recording with no problem.
Verify the value for the "record" parameter on the system level, and on the channel level (both on of favorites list).

How are you capturing audio? LAN or 3.5mm audio cable? If audio cable, is it connected to front or back of SDS200?

Are both instances running in the same folder. They have to be in seperate folders.

They are in separate folders.
I would double and triple check that. If using shortcuts, make sure they are setup to run the instances in the different folders.

For a test, run the instance that is connected to the SDS100 and don't run the other instance. Change the scanner type to SDS100 then close ProScan. Reopen ProScan and it should be set to SDS100.

I finally got Proscan to 'remember' it, but. When I 'Write To Scanner', it is not making the change on my SDS100.

I have a dozen Favs that were created in Sentinel based on specific Service Types using the Add Channels on Range feature and would like to import them into ProScan. When doing so, however, the RRDB Differences button is lost. Is there a way to retain this feature when importing from Sentinel? Thanks

Ok I will check that. I am capturing audio via LAN. This scanner is actually in the attic and I have not messed with it in months except to listen via Proscan. I've changed nothing with the scanner or software recently. That's why this is weird for it to all of a sudden happen and only on certain talk groups lol

No. It's not possible. The RRDB Differences function works when importing from the RRDB directly. The HPDB (Sentinel) data doesn't contain the RRDB indexes so it won't work importing from the HPDB.

I figured out the problem! The path files being saved exceeded the filename windows limitations of 260 characters. That group had an extremely long named when being saved, hence why it was only doing it on some talk groups :)

Thanks everyone

I understand Proscan will have full support for the SDS150 sometime in late January. In the meantime will the favorites editor work with the 150? Limited editing options in Sentinel.

Any program that edits favorite list has to work. It is still using the exact same format 1.0 for favorite lists as for all BCDx36/SDS models. What differs are that global filter will be greyed out in profiles and will not be available in favorite lists when Sentinel are set to SDS150. If you switch target back to SDS100 then filter settings will be intact and preserved in the favorite lists even if you edit and save using SDS150 as target.
