ProScan Version 1.7 Build 2 includes the RadioReference Imports feature, improved Scanner Over IP, and bug fixes.

Supported scanners are the BCD996T, BC796D, BC785D, BC780XLT, BC296D, and the BC250D.

I'm thriving to make this the best Computer Aided Scanning program and suggestions are very much appreciated.

cant select service type in the 325P2.
My bad, usually working with SDS series.

You said you told it not to import encrypted channels, but it did import them when check against main database.

Using your program, I recreated it under ARMER title, and included only control channels, and added Meeker County tower, and did not include encrypted channels.

I just added it to your programming as a second system. Try loading it and see if it works. If not i'll go back to scratching my head over this one.

Been scanning over an hour with that file. Nothing. Dead silence.
Then there has to be something within the scanner, preventing it from operating correctly. I still would do a factory reset, and then reload the programming. How far from the towers are you?

Maybe Bob has a suggestion.

Just did a reset. So far, nothing with that file.
Then I am at a loss on what's wrong. Even with simulcast you usually pick something up every once in a while with squelch set to 2.

Does it pick anything up on the stock antenna?

Hopefully Bob or someone else will have an idea whats wrong.

I don't think there is an actual problem with Proscan, I think he doesn't have something setup correctly.

On a trunk system, you have to have a Quick Key assigned to at least ONE "Site" (a site being a group of frequencies). The BCD325P2 scans "things" that have a quick key turned ON. It doesn't matter how many TGIDs you have defined for a trunk system, it is the frequencies it scans.

Look at the two screen captures in this post.

The screen shot that show what you get when you click on the SYSTEM Tab, you see that the Univ of Kentucky (which is a P2 Simulcast System) has a QUICK KEY of 16 assigned the "SITE" entry that has frequencies, but not QUICK KEY is assigned to any of the TGIDs.

The second screen shot is the results of clicking on the "Quick Keys / Search Keys" tab, on that page make sure that the QUICK KEY for the "Site" is turned on. (In my case it is not, because by default, I want the scanner to scan the local airport and railroads.)

Suggestion... post a similar screen shot of these two tabs from your system.

Let me do a download from scanner. Will try to post a picture of it. My scanner does fine scanning public safety thats preprogrammed in the 325. Hear plenty of P25 systems without issues. My programmed search (lost it when I wiped the memory) for P25 was picking up just fine also. This is why I am suspecting its a proscan issue. Have tried to check settings on each frequency. Don't see anything out of place so far.

You seem to be having a lot of weird issues lately. First your scanners only receive aircraft if they are set to 8.33 kHz spacing and now this. I suspect some commonality somewhere.

Oh I do hear aircraft on 25 Mhz spacing. Seems I hear more on the 8.33 Mhz spacing. Since selling my SDS200, and have never programmed the 325 except using the default programming, when I get time, plan on manually programming a few frequencies just to see what happens. If this actually does work, then I will know for sure its proscan causing this issue. If It doesn't, then maybe send it in to uniden for them to check it out.

Open the below file in Proscan. Upload it to the scanner. Make sure the settings are as shown below are checked exactly as shown. If you get "Nothing to Scan" press the 1 key,

Thanks. Will give it a try. I entered just st cloud manually. 8 frequencies. Nothing in past 20 minutes. Starting to think its the radio. If your files doesn't work, will send it in for uniden to look at it. Seems odd I can listen fine using the preprogrammed menu for public safety. Doesn't make sense.
