Wauconda ENC

Wauconda police main P1 ENC. Dispatched on channel 2 last night now tonight ENC. Oh well another, the only crime major accident mostly boating season 12/120, DUIs, high rate again boating season, boat police activity, the local bar brawls etc ..... etc. Sometimes a Barney chase on route 12. Basically a Mayberry town.

I'm sure I won't be the only one sending a flash drive USB along with my freedom of information act paperwork. Now that federal court decided that police departments can't with hold audio files from radio communication.

Any chance site 115 will be in used in Lake County? I know it was the old Chicago-North site which merged with (NWCD) site 149.

While it certainly could be reused it was my understanding that the current Site 108 would be enhanced with more freqs from the existing LCSO EDACS system as it is scaled down.

They could however do an overlay with a new site number like they did in McHenry County.

Yes, it seems that way... Unitrunker advertises it as site 115, which surprised me as I was expecting 108.

So in the database we need to change Site 108 to be Site 115 and there is no Site 108 currently?

According to Unitrunker on both sites 146 and 149 today, correct. There is no 108 anymore, just 115 with a CC of 852.9375.

Hi. I'm using my recently purchased Butel 996 software for my BCD996T. I've used Butel many times in the past for my RS Pro106 and my BCD436, so I am not a stranger with this.

Is there any reason why I cannot successfully program any systems from the Illinois STARCOM 21 system? The only thing I can think of is that the BCD996T does not work with Starcom.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

If I remember correctly since the 800 MGHz rebanding you have to change the frequency band plan in the settings when programming the BC996T. I had to do this for a Friend so his BC996T would work with Starcom21. My BC996XT could get the correct frequencies from the CC data stream. My BC996XT Scanner was bought in 2009 and did not reqire the change to the band plan. Here is a link with instruction for the Uniden scanners.
