FYI Troop K doesnt simulcast to Troop H Site anymore Since its on CLMARS. It used to under the old system a couple years ago. Which it still did but doesnt. And Troop L will simulcast over Troop H also.

What the neighbor site data indicates is what additional site simulcasts are carried a particular site. Generally, they are adjacent sites. For example, if you scan just the Troop H site, you will not only hear "H" traffic over the "H" simulcast, but traffic from Troop's B, C, F, I, K and the downtown Hartford Simulcast. Knowing this may help someone to monitor a particular troop simulcast they would not normally be able to receive directly.
I get all that but I still can't find in the data base that shows the neighbor sites. I see it when I run unitrunker but not on RR

Because of where it’s at, it always get locked on new britain because they have more power than troop h in the area. Trying to figure out how to get H better.

Did the troop E zone control channel change? Cell 026 I believe? My scanner went silent!!
If you have all channels for that site in your scanner it should not matter. This is a rare occasion but the site closest to you could be down for a short time. I know some issues were happening in the Western area. Haven't heard anything about that part of the state.

Control channel changed a few days ago. As a minimum, you should have the primary and the alternates programmed. The database is accurate for those channels.

I've noticed that Hartford's buses and other services use Radio ID's 45xxx through 46xxx.

Just about everything else I've picked up goes by the formula MMMxxxx where MMM is the 3-digit municipality number.

In this case, 004 is reserved for the town of Avon, however it doesn't seem it's being used for that purpose.

Does anyone know what happened to cause this deviation, or if there are other ID ranges or agencies where this is the case?
