FYI Troop K doesnt simulcast to Troop H Site anymore Since its on CLMARS. It used to under the old system a couple years ago. Which it still did but doesnt. And Troop L will simulcast over Troop H also.

I get all that but I still can't find in the data base that shows the neighbor sites. I see it when I run unitrunker but not on RRWhat the neighbor site data indicates is what additional site simulcasts are carried a particular site. Generally, they are adjacent sites. For example, if you scan just the Troop H site, you will not only hear "H" traffic over the "H" simulcast, but traffic from Troop's B, C, F, I, K and the downtown Hartford Simulcast. Knowing this may help someone to monitor a particular troop simulcast they would not normally be able to receive directly.
DB updated. As expected, Troop B Simulcast is now on the West Zone using 003.012
How close to Avon? I have a computer setup in Farmington but sadly it’s almost always locked on them because of where the computer and sites are atAnyone near Avon listening? I want to pick your brain.
Pure speculation.source on that?
Because of where it’s at, it always get locked on new britain because they have more power than troop h in the area. Trying to figure out how to get H better.I am right off 177 on the Avon/Canton line, and I am parked on L Simulcast Site with a PSR800 and its pretty active, I only listen to Troops L, H, A, B and sometimes DEEP
If you have all channels for that site in your scanner it should not matter. This is a rare occasion but the site closest to you could be down for a short time. I know some issues were happening in the Western area. Haven't heard anything about that part of the state.Did the troop E zone control channel change? Cell 026 I believe? My scanner went silent!!
