how can i listen to the new CSP system with my BCD996p2 scanner and i have programmed all of the channels into the scanner from the data base and i am getting 5 bar signal on troops A, L, DEEP E & W and the Lake Patrol but i am not hearing any voice

Double check your programming.

Are you sure you're in range?

You might not be close enough.

It looks like you are at least 2 hours away if you are in Warren, NY
i am in connecticut for a few months and i am 6 mintues from bridgewater ct and 15 mintues from washington ct and 10 mintues away from roxbury ct

all TGs you want to hear are programmed, and not set to L/O?

what do you program with?

I'd Program these 3 sites..

H, L, B and whichever TGs you want to hear. See what comes in best... odds are one of them will, when you have that squared away pull out the ones you don't pick up. When I had a 325 I just left 2 sites in and would toggle them on/off depending on location. I typically only program these TGs: Troops A, I, H, B, L thats really it.

Tolland radio IDs (142***) testing in East Windsor today on 8511. Maybe TN is finally switching them over from the old LTR system, or coverage testing for mutual aid?
I wonder if it has something to do with the lack of new low band equipment. As it goes bad they're running out of replacement pieces in the 33mhz portion of the band.
