There were/are issues with programming as well, based upon aired conversations about missing channels.

Or could be a user issue. Depending on training, or lack there of, many users don't know how to find more than 2 or 3 channels they use most of the time, and for get what a Zone is three days after having the new HT issues.

So the the issues being reported could be the patch, not the system. Distorted audio and drops can be an indication of an inadequate patch config.

Their EDACS system was analog and aging. Just about everyone around them is running P25. They DID need new technology....
