You indicated the time as 05:41pm, I am assuming that you meant am. The reason I am asking is that I had my radio on around the supper hour and I have that frequency plugged in but did not hear anything. I am just kind of analyzing if he was too far away for me to pick up, had your time been am then I would not have heard him as my radio wasn't on, thanks.

Moonbounce.

P.S. You are a great source for military frequency info, keep up the good work, and thanks for sharing your info on this and other sites.

Since he posted at 5:44pm, I think it's more likely his report actually was 5:41pm.

Interesting that you show it being posted at 0544pm and my computer shows it being posted at 0944pm? Anyways I guess I was reading to much into it. At work we use the 24 hour clock, so it is more natural for me to assume that when I see a 0541, I take it as being 0541 hours am or if it is pm I am expecting to see 1741 hrs. Also it is showing that I posted my last message at 01:29pm today when it is actually posted at 10:02 am today?
It is not a big deal, it is only that I wanted to know as I did have my radio on at 1741 hrs, that is all, thanks for the reply.

Edit your profile here and put the correct timezone in - that'll fix your issues.

I'm posting this at 10:30am EDT and it's showing up on my screen as posting at 10:30 am.

Hi Moonbounce, & others.
Yes it was PM. It was weak when I first heard him, then it was stronger, & then gone. Did hear someone 61 around that same time on some UHF center freqs. I wasn't able to understand his call sign.

Single A10 just flew over Brighton inside of livingston county. Low and hot. Made me jump to the window to make sure it wasnt a 747 crashing. You never hear jets in this area and when you do you go outside to see. happened at 1:35.

Hey guys, hope you don't mind me jumping into your post, just wanted to pass along a contact report I just heard on Gander HF, maybe some of you will be up early to see/hear these guys.

OMNI426 checked in 54N, 30W around 05:58Z reported ETA to 53N 40W XX:xxZ
OMNI585 checked in 54N, 30W around 06:00Z reported ETA to 53N 40W 06:54Z

Not sure if these are actual MilAir, but when I look up OMNI, I only come up with OMNI A-10 172ND FS MI ANG BATTLE CREEK MI, and OMNI Unk Based in El Salvador-working w/Blue Star, plus the flight numbers dont come back to anything civilian that I can find.

Anyways, they're headed home according to thier position reports, so maybe they are inbound to you guys, or hopefully to AR20 for me :D

Bummer they moved! A-10s Rock! Im adding them to my wanted list for the summer monitoring/pics :D Glad to hear you enjoy the clips/post, its really turned into a lot of fun with all the guys in that post working together, confirming tails and the information exchange and everything.

Ed (jetcrafter) posted this info which I'm adding below in the AR20 post, maybe not as exciting as the A-10s, but still interesting if you like to go wave your flag when the boys and girls come home :) :

OMNI usually is related to MilAir. They are a military troop carrier contracted out by the Gov't. These flights almost always stop in Bangor either heading to the war or coming home from it.

Here is their website:
https://www.omniairintl.com/

The Maine Troop Greeters always meet the planes and offer thanks and services to the great men and women who are passing through Bangor at any time of the day or night. These are mostly Omni Air International planes and also North American, Ryan, World Airways.

Here is the Troop Greeter's site:
Maine Troop Greeters :: The Official Home

Here's Mode-S for your flights:
